Jimmie. Jr has tons more fans; what better way to get the NASCAR fanatics excited? Just because you think he's bland, doesn't make it so. There are many sports greats that are not loud and showy. JJ and Team 48 just proved to everyone that focus and determination, not the negative attention a two-year-old expects, is what helped them make history.

Each of you, as well as I, are entitle to our opinions. But, opinions do not make facts. Facts are JJ has accomplished more since his rookie year than most, if not all, former or current NASCAR drivers have managed to get in the books. You count up his wins, then count up the number of wins the greats achieved in their first 9 years in the sport and get back to me...

they cant get back to you on that.
all the 48"s numbers tell the story.
hes the driver of the decade an in a league of his own.
they have worked an earned all of these championships with the help from ther smartest crew chief in nascar history.

that would be true if he had not cheated to get there ..I will be happy to hail a four time champ when there is one that wins it hands down HONESTLY... his championships will always have **** with them. He will get respect when he wins 4 in a row with out cheating...The fact that Nascar thought having him win 4 would bring more fans to the sport... did not make it happen. If he wants respect lets see him do it with different crew and crew chief ... we will see once and for all that it is jimmies driving not chads genius or hendricks money...then we can hail him as the almighty untill then he is mediocore at best...

With all due respect you sound like a child having a fit and unable to see what's right in front of you. DENIAL does NOT make things change. Hang in there kiddo.

His cheating is fact one he can not skirt or deny...when you cheat you loose the respect of the masses...nobody likes a cheater... you would be the one in denial.you think he won 4 championships based on his talent.... you really are in denial....heck we are not even sure he has talent, between ricks having nascar in his back pocket and chad's"grey area" (another word(pc) for cheating) who knows he even has talent. Most see any possible talent overshadowed by the previos two ,rick and chad. But keep clinging to denial it is all you have... tell yourself this "it is really not cheating if we do not get caught"

Lets see what the tv ratings are after the rest of the chasers make their speeches and jimmie's horse and pony show takes the stage.... I figure about 5 fans on here and the teams immediate family (momma has to watch) the rest of us are going channel changing.... the other 9 are way more deserving of their accolades...hope there are enough fans to tune in when the next champ is crowned ... if its jimmie ...no one will care... even more than they do not care now. we can only hope they wise up before then...

When the economy turns around ...what will they blame the empty seats on then.??
