The complex story of Motorsports Management International begins in Los Angeles, winds through Indianapolis and even parts of rural Ohio before coming to rest, for now, at MMI's spacious new office on the outskirts of Charlotte.

I thought this was a neat story about how this company developed and then took off because of Tony.

I agree, this is a very good article. I guess it shouldn't surprise me, but it does, that back in the day, Tony was considered to be just as big a talent as Jeff Gordon. He could have gone right into Nascar instead of the IRL and maybe have as close to as many wins and championships as Jeff. I also read somewhere this year that it was Jeff who recommended to Rick Hendrick that he take a look at Tony back in 95, 96, or 97 (I'm not sure of the exact year) and Rick tried to recruit him and Tony turned him down, because Tony felt he wasn't ready to take that big step yet. Think about it, Jeff and Tony could have been teammates way back when and who knows how things would have turned out.
