I'm pretty certain this article will get mixed reviews, but I really want you to take it at face value and put your personal loyalties aside for just a moment.

It is a great insult to Dale Earnhardt for anybody to compare Kyle Busch to him. Busch grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth and never had to want for anything. We all knew that Earnhardt grew up poor and worked his butt off for anything he got. Earnhardt and his work ethic was all about heart. Kyle Busch has no clue what heart and hard work is about. Busch can certainly drive a car but lots of guys can drive. And none of them come close to being the man Earnhardt was.

I wondered if Gibbs had a little talk about priorities.
That could be maybe that is why the abrupt change of heart maybe it wasn't the not finishing good, but more of a hey you need to run cup 1st and play later!

Kyle has an attitude, but Dale didn't? Come on. Dale was ornery as hell. Kyle is more like Dale than any other Cup driver IMO.
I don't think Dale would last either in NASCAR these days either. NASCAR has become a bit too PC and imaged based these past few years.

Thank GOD for Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart, the 2 most consistently racing people on the track... if it weren't for them, I would have changed the channel years ago..

I don't think Dale would have let NASCAR get this way. I think Tony would have had an ally and I think the rest would have been glad and I think the no racing of HMS would not ever have happened.

I just have to say that people conveniently forget that Jeff Gordon was taught by Dale Earnhardt to race, so for all the people who hate that man, remember who he learned it from.

This hate of HMS (and I do agree that Jimmie Johnson is a cheater) is just odd in general. But I do know that should Kyle continue to win as he does, soon it will be JGR hate.

You say it all SR did everything from ground up and PEE WEE has been spoon fed. I don't even compare. Also SR didn't flaunt durin pre race. You know like lifting glasses and whippin a fake tear. What a putz Thats what makes me dislike KB so much. Yeah he can drive but never will drive like SR Sr could see things other's couldn't he didn't even have to touch their cars to getem loose like Pee Wee does. So I'm not seeing anything in comparison.

Does anyone know what SR was like when he was 23? Really to compare Kyle to SR when SR was older is not necessarily fair.

I think over time we'll see if Kyle is indeed the next intimidator. But that will come with time and right now saying he is, is jumping the gun.

Yep I think he's got the potential to be, given time and guidance. But it's too early to judge.

Potential? Maybe but I doubt he'll ever be like him.
