Vintage Michael Waltrip buys his way into keeping his meaningless 262 Nextel starting streak going!. I don't think any0ne should be able to buy into a Nextel Cup race. If you can't qualify, you don't race period.2502

The Waltrips all think that theirs does not stink, but it does.

I am tires of seeing Michael carry on like a fool not knowing when to stop. I guess if you really aren't good enough, money still talks. I do not think this should be allowed, but NASCAR seems to allow the Waltrips lots of things. Ever get tired of how they just
go on and on? Racing sure isn't like it use to be. I miss it.

If ya can't keep up the pace then ya shouldn't be able to race. Period! Your "cash flow" shouldn't have anything to do with your chances of making the race or not. I love Michael to death but this was just wrong. As for Cope........this is a textbook example of every man having his price.

You are all a bunch of uninformed idiots. For those of us with an education who understand business and the bottom line, we get it. Waltrip makes money for sponsors. Get over it.

For all you bashers it's not the first time it's been done. Rick Hendrick did it for Schrader and Cal Wells did it for Bobby Jr. last year. And who did Cal buy the car from oh yeah MWR. Get over it and find someone else to bash. You have not a clue what was going on and you don't care it's just bash Michael. He could win a race and you would find something to bash him for. Go to the other boards and bash away but if your doing it at a Michael site at least get your facts straight.

As a huge bill elliott since 1983 I just spent a huge amount of $$$$$ on ebay for good seats at chicago. Micheal if you dont make the show on speed, SIT OUT. DONT TAKE BILLS RIDE, but thanks for giving him five races. Your great with the media and sponsers but you just cant drive, you proved that with dale jr cars and personel last year. Waltrip will be a great team owner for toyota but not a driver. Good luck mike getting bill to do your rd for 07 because bill is going to redbll fulltime to turn the 83 ride into 9 ride like he did for kahne and evernham.

Joyce, apparently NASCAR racing brings you such joy.
Stop complaining about everything and get out your Monopoly Game. If you pass GO, take a ride on the nearest railroad to a good therapist.

I'd love to see what you would do if the situation was in your hands. You'd do the same thing considering the bottom line is it's cheaper to rent a willing participant's car for 1 race, than it is to pay the sponsor back the money for that car. It's called business, and if you knew anything about business, you'd have no problem with it. Since you don't know anything about business, you're all feeble minded insults because you have nothing better to do. PLUS, this was what 6 MONTHS AGO. Get over it already. Do you not have lives?

Cars qualify, not drivers. It's the same at Indy. The only person that I feel sorry for in one of these deals is the driver who qualified the car but then does'nt have a ride.

Wow bringing up a year old thread.
Either way, if the driver doesn't like, he needs to talk to the owner who agreed to it. Simple fact is, that team made MORE money "selling" the spot to Michael than they would have starting and parking. So it was a good deal for the team all around. The next race, Michael's team helped Cope's team get the car ready for the race and they actually FINISHED the race. No starting and parking then. It was a good deal all around.

Yeah about what? Just because you don't like Michael or anyone on his team? So what, get a life. You may not like what I have to say, but prove me wrong. You can't.

Already showed you in the other thread. Nashville truck race 2005. What more do you want? David himself to tell you? He'd just whoop your behind.

Got Barbie dressed yet or are you still wishing you had a woman?
