All 3 JGR drivers are awesome drivers but with Smoke leaving and Joey Logano driving the 20 I have concerns. Smoke has made that Orange 20 famous and after watching JL yesterday I don't see how he will be able to keep that 20 car in the top 35 next year. I can't see Home Depot accepting that their car will be riding in the very back week after week.
I had heard rumors (only rumors that I heard, no insight here) that JL wouldn't be driving the 20 full time next year. Hopefully this is the case or even better they find someone full time for the 20 that will give it the same (or close) attitude as Smoke did.
Sliced Bread needs to bake first before it's sliced.
You may have gotten some bad responses, but I agree w/ you. I can't see JL riding up front at all next yr. And I can't see Home Depot putting up with it. They are a huge sponser. And they won't put up with their car running in the back all season. Sliced bread ain't has good as he thinks he is, and when he starts running in Cup he's gonna find it out - FAST! JMO After this yr is over I'm going over to SHR anyway, but it will be interesting to watch the kid run next yr.

These kids need to pay their dues before they move up with the big dogs. JL needs to stay in the NW series for at least another year before he starts in Cup. He's raced in 3 races so far and hasn't been too impressive yet. He's young, dang, I don't even think he shaves yet. A year in NW is only going to help him not hurt him. Look at Brad K. he run in the NW for 1 1/2 years now and yesterday was his cup debut.. he did pretty decent.. Top 20. And he is going to stay in the NW for another year before he moves up to Cup. That's the way to do it. Learn before you leap.

Home Depot isn't going to go for their car being in the back while their biggest competitor, Lowes, is up front week in and week out. They shell out way too much money for that.

Sorry Andy, I missed the show so I don't know what Spencer said.
But I firmly believe Home Depot won't put up with being 35th or worse. They have spent too much money on the #20 as it is.

Spencer wasn't the only one saying that. Kenny W said the same thing. All these young guys need to run at least a full year or 2 in NW.

You look at any other sport, most kids don't go right from high school into a top pro team. Yeah, some might make it but most will fail and then it's the fan that will miss out on getting to see what could have been a great career.

Yeah, they're so overhyped. That's why Tony has won two championships, 31 races and Kyle has won about 20 races in the Cup, Truck series and Nationwide. That's really being overhyped, isn't it? Hamlin has won a few races himself.

It was an awesome season and I think Kyle Busch did awesome not only in the Sprint Series but in the Craftsman Truck Series and the Nationwide Series. He is a driver with a great amount of talent. His arrogance with lessen as seasons go by i'm sure alot like other drivers when they were rookies. I am looking forward to watching Kyle Busch win races in all the series for years to come.

Anyone with a heart big enough to donate 100,000 dollars to an old race car driver that is in need and donate his earnings from a race he won to the needy survivors of Katrina has my support! Quite a gesture for a 23 year old.

Dack - I agree completely! That was a very kind thing to do and it was obvious that it came from the heart and not someone seeking publicity.

On TWIN tonight, Steve Byrne made mention of Kyle giving $100,000 to Sam Ard. But, he also said Kyle was repairing his image or some words to that effect. I'm sure the Kyle haters will have negative things to say about it. I, for one, think that was a great gesture for a young kid to do that. I like Kyle. Too bad so many people don't.

That sort of makes Tony look the one not needed don't you think? Kyle Busch is going to take Tony Stewarts memory out for a walk. Making Stewart overhyped and Kyle Busch underated. Pez is an idiot and you're far behind him.

I have no idea who Marlena is and I don't have a sack!!!or a sac!! Perhaps we are two thoughtful, honest people that sees things as they are instead of putting a skewered slant on everything . Do you tell your kids that Santa Clause has an ulterior motive??

Well, considering I have only posted 3 times before and only once after Dack (the other two were 20somethingdancer & Bob 11 on this thread), I guess it doesn't take much to swing on Dack's sack - lol!

But it *does* sound kinda fun...like a Dr. Suess story or something! We could even include you, Jack:

"I swung on Dack's sack until I got right back to Jack's sack", "1 sack, 2 sack, Dack sack, Jack sack", etc.
