Great job Tony. Couldn't sign an autograph for your lone 10 yearold fan after the Pocono Race ! Oh that's right, you had to go sit under those pine trees and wait for your helicopter. " TOO BUSY". This 10 yearold kid bought your hat, shirt, and shorts with his own hard earned money. When he finally got to meet his favorite driver, Tony Stewart tells him " Get out of here kid, I'm
busy. Then goes and waits 15 - 20 minutes for the helicopter to arrive. You suck as a person Stewart.

I'm sorry to hear that happened to the young boy.
Is he still a fan of Tony?

Typical Tony. You never shouldve allowed your son to be his fan. Unfortunately Ive witnessed this before. Tony is nice to kids when the cameras are rolling.

And just how would you know how Tony is with kids when the camera's aren't rolling. Are you stalking him???? I've seen him with children, including my own, and he is very good with them. At Pocono, I seriously doubt anyone was giving autographs period. Most drivers went to the in-field care facility getting rehydrated and on oxygen. Tony had an obligation, thus he was getting the care he needed on the way there.

I am pretty sure that if this 10 year old kid was at Pocono and saw the race, that he would know Tony was upset at himself... what does this 10 year old kid do when he is mad at himself? slam the door and want to be alone? why would Tony be any different? people should not be hanging out at the helipad..Tony does plenty of scheduled signings.. so stand in line for hours like the rest of us at Home Depot. It is worth every minute when you do, but do not think of getting in his face after a bad race finish.. that is common sense and compassion

Couldn't have said it better myself. Sometimes circumstances prevent the Driver's from stopping to give someone autograph. Such as getting to the drivers meeting for example.

I'm a tony fan. I so hope that didn't happen. I can imagine thou that 1. he signed alot of autograghs already that day and had enough. 2. Indiana had some flooding and might have been thinking about home. I know it isn't a good attitude to have toward a young fan.

Wow, no way! If this is true then Tony Stewart truly is the scum of the pond! If it's true that is.

Sorry but no one is entitled to an autograph.. if the kid paid any attention or if MOM OR DAD filled him in on why Tony may not be able to sign.. the kid would learn a life lesson.. entitlement is half this country's problem.. I wouldn't have been any where near Tony after that race... and I certainly would not have attempted to ask for an autgraph he is human after all

Did anyone complain about the guys who probably didn't sign autographs because they were so exhausted they were almost passing out after that race. If the reports are true about how taxing that race was on drivers I understand why Tony or anyone else who drove in that race would want to just sit down and relax for the 15 to 20 mins he had before his helicopter came. I realize it was a 10 year old kid, but you can't give everyone what they want, these guys would do nothing but give autographs if they tried to accommodate everyone.

That had to have been a very grueling race. It was extremely hot on Sunday, plus the temps in the car go over 100 degrees. Jr. could barely talk when he was being interviewed. You could tell he was exhausted as were the others, I'm sure.

tony missed the life lessons as a kid i imagine. the 10 year old was probably more mature than tony is. not saying much though.

Oh please. There is a time and place to get an autograph & that wasn't the time or the place & yes, the kid is 10 but what is wrong with his parents for allowing it. They should know better. Just because he bought a few things doesn't mean he's owed anything. I've seen plenty of drivers do the same & worse, so please don't say the other 42 drivers would have done it different.
