NASCAR fix a race, you must be out of your mind! You think all the drivers would go along with a fixed race! NO WAY!<quoted text>
On that questionable win, I think NASCAR immediately realized that they didn't fool anyone, everyone saw that it was staged. Notice how quickly they let the whole thing drop? They have really toned down the all-Junior-all-the-time yapfest since then, too. NASCAR knows they have made a mistake in pushing the false image of Jr as a champ in the making way past what the fans are willing to fantasize or support. NASCAR damaged their own credibility with that one and the damage may take a long time to repair.
It's time to stick a fork in Dale Earnhardt Jr. Because he's done. Again. Yes, it is true that there are still five races left to decide who is in and who is out of the Chase.

They have no choice. If anyone ever opened their mouth the NASCAR Nazi would destroy their career.

Why do you think that fiasco was done in a Nationwide race? It could never be arranged in the Sprint cup league because those drivers are racing for the points in that series.

Nobody ever said ALL the races are fixed.
But nobody can deny that something fishy was going on in that July 3rd Nationwide race in Daytona. Perhaps it was the email I got July 2nd selling me a "Jr wins in the number 3 car in Daytona" T-shirt, 24 hours before the race even started he was declared the winner?
Then, I watched the race and there was no doubt that things looked mighty suspicious about the way the other drivers were right there on the last lap but nobody would even attempt to go around Jr.
You have a right to your opinion, but my observation of that race is, there was somethin' rotten in Daytona.
