<quoted text>Oh, get off it. The man won on fuel economy. One or two more laps and he would have finished in 30th place. He drove hard and did well but he didn't do anything but play the fuel game like the rest and won. Robby Gordon had his butt covered all day, but the fuel game got him too. No body has answered my question yet as to why the world's supposedly best driver left the supposedly best racing series to come to lowly NASCAR. I can tell you this, he knocked enough cars around yesterday that the next few races will be enjoyable for him. What goes around, comes around.
Won a fuel game? From the 32th spot? Wow...not only are your Cup boys poor drivers on anything other than a oval...they don't know how to short shift or save fuel? The Cup Clowns.

He left F1 because he couldn't get a ride with one of the top teams and he knew his days were numbered. F1 drivers only race into their 30's. There are no Mark Martin's or Ken Scharder's in F1. He wasn't one of the best F1 drivers of all-time. He was fun to watch and could overtake as well as anyone but he took tons of chances and the top teams in F1 didn't want that. F1 cars can barely overtake one another, they are designed to run in clear air. So drivers like Montoya, who are great at overtaking, aren't neccessarily desired in today's F1. So he bolted to NASCAR. He appears to be having a blast. I think you guys will begin to like him. He's tremdously entertaining in any type of racing.

Wow,, a decent post. I second Brad. The thing all the losers are pissed about is that they ran their mouths and said that Montoya was good but not as good as the Nascar best drivers in the Universe. As Montoya said it, It's win or win,, anything less than that will be a failure. And he did just that, won from the back. If he would've been on pole, then everybody would've said.. wah wah he had the fastest car,, wah wah,, funny thing is that they admited he wasn't the fastest, and yet they could stop his charge to the front. So, best advise.. Lick your wounds and move on. Pathetic losers digging for ridiculous excuses. And funny thing,, is that the world was watching to see if in fact a formula one driver was gonna be spanked in front of millions. In europe, fans and some f1 drivers were watching. Montoya took them to school on a road course. Again. Ouch... from 32... Robby Gordon should send me my money back. I have lost my respect for him. Instead of losing with dignity,, he did it crying and kicking. wah wah wah..

Well of course. Did you see Jeff Gordon's face after the race? He had the, what the [email protected] just went on here? Like all the others. My hat off to Montoya, he certainly showed what Racing is about. He was smoking those tires trying to make up for lack of bite on exit. I mean, he's an accomplished driver. Formula one drivers are use to push themselves and the equipment to the limits.. Anyone who thinks the race suck cause he won,, is just a pathetic loser. This race was the most exciting I've whatched in a while, from beginning till the very end. With proud people and cry babies.. Had you ever heard of a driver complaining cause the guy with a slow car beat him?? Wow,, That's a first to me. Can you imagine if JPM woud've had a fast car??
One more thing,, surprisingly the battle with Newman was very clean, Newman didn't take him out as usual.
and with Kurt B, well as I saw Montoya didn't have a place to go, Jeff was up his butt, and if he would've brake hard, then all the cars behind would've crash too. Kurt did the same mistake that Pruett did,, Opened the door and then shut it at the very end. That's racing.

lol lol! I did notice that look on Jeff Gordons face and also Kevin Harvicks face and as a matter of fact a bunch of people had that look on their faces! ha, I think that when Juan qualified 32'nd on the grid, all these guys had a lot of time to think that it was just another bad qualification and that he wouldn't be a factor in the race and they loved that! each time he doesn't qualify well or have a great resault it makes them feel good about themselves boosting their confedence and making themselves feel as if they are somehow actually better drivers than him! and then at the end all of the air was suddenly let out of their bags! Also did anyone notice how the usual extatic crowd at Infinion were very quiet after he won? It shows how many nascar fans don't like him, "Awww that's too bad" lol, Oh and I fifth that I guess!
