Drivers team up to raise money for United Way at quarter midget track

“We thought this event would be a really good way to show our support, bring folks out, get folks involved and see if we can raise money for the United Way”

With recent layoffs hitting Rowan County's economy hard - and more probably coming this summer - several NASCAR drivers are racing to help the local United Way raise money. via Salisbury Post

Whoever we may like or dislike, It's always nice to see these guys and gals doing some real important work. I love a good race, but there are things more important. So Kudos to all those involved.
