He goes to court this Monday on meth and theft charges, wonder if he will take a plea? He has said he would but no jail time. I know people that did worse, and got probation. All that stuff in his house, the witness dying in a bike crash, frame full of meth? Don't think Jeremy is Heisenberg, and don't think he is totally innocent. He may not look like a tweeker, but the way he bashed e ham and his lady, the whole drug test thing, he sure act like one.

I think the Jeremy Mayfield saga of stupidity has gone on far too long. All of his problems are self made. An arrogant attitude boosted by Meth use placed him in direct opposition to the most logical solution to his problem when he failed the first drug test. It was all down hill from there and all of his own making. Regardless of the out come of his trail, he will not be remember in history not for his accomplishments on the track but for his horrendous failures after he left NASCAR. I think Almendinger may have had a glowing example of what not to do when he failed his test. Mayfield's return to NASCAR could have been just as simple as Almendinger's had it not been for his own stupid actions. If you sleep with dogs, you'll probably get fleas and if you associate with thieves, you'll probably be considered one, birds of a feather. It's time for Jeremy to be fairly judged for what he has been charged with by a jury of his peers. More importantly, it's time for Jeremy to accept responsibility for his own actions and failures. It's truly a shame to see someone of his stature do these type things to themselves all over drugs.
