Nobody really wants Jr. to fail. Well maybe you and Jim do, but that's nobody. Like it or not, he's NASCAR's biggest draw for whatever the reason He ain't going away. Not quite yet. So guess what - you get stew over your little pot of hate a while longer.

Dontcha just hate Connecticut? I mean can you get a decent cup of coffee or slice of pizza in this state?

Jr can't even finish in the top 10 in a 21 car grid. but that's ok he'll finish better next week so no need to panic

That person who wrote the article fails:
"Itís hard to go from 25th into the top 12 in a year"
Really? Jr went from 25th to 2nd in just 1 race. How can he find the logic in what he said? The season is far from over and Im sure Dale will do his consistent plummeting act back to the 20th spot in a few weeks.
Not a hater, but Jr has yet to prove he can top-10 his way back to 12 place and hold his chase standings.

Please tell me when Jr. went from 25th in the points standings to 2nd in the point standings in just one race.

Good Morning, Jim.

I wondered about that too. But maybe he finished 25th last year and then after the good run at Daytona he went to 2nd. Of course that is two different seasons so I do not think that counts - at least it does not count in my book.

1 fuel-milage win, 13 top fives 24 top tens in 84 races driving the BEST equipment money can buy.

If I may ask, when would it be time to panic?

It doesn't really matter, as the panic started around 2006.

Then to my calculations that is almost half of all of those races in the top 10. 38 out of 84.

Your calculations are off. Top 5's are also counted as top 10's, you don't add them together. And wins are counted as top 5's and top 10's. So the races where he finished top 10, OR BETTER, stands at 24 out of 84 - less than 1/3.

Afternoon to you.

I think that person is seriously confused and what I find funny is their comment, "That person who wrote the article fails".

The failure lies with their post, not the person who wrote the article.
