At the end of the 2012 season, Jimmie Johnson was a 7-2 favorite to win the 2013 Championship.
Jump ahead 10 months and the man has a 75 point lead in the regular season. Your heart may be telling you differently, but Johnson is the smart choice to win his six championship. Like him or not, it's hard to bet against a guy whose average Chase finish is 2.

Cale, you're a man after my heart with your name and your number. I agree with you totally on Jimmie. Him and his team are the race industry leaders. Day in, day out, the 48 team is the yard stick used to measure the ability and performance of all the others. If your car can run with the 48 car, your driver wore his big boy pants that day.
