Fed up about the style of racing, he said in 2010 fans shouldn't even bother to going to the track.

No... he shouldn't be fined (Denny shouldn't have been either). But he should get a good long stern talkin to. What he said was wrong and I believe was said out of anger.

NASCAR had to finish the race. There was no reason not too.

The drivers are obviously frustrated with NASCAR. I would be to if someone was putting my life at risk just for a show. The way they regulate and make the cars run the same it's not racing anymore. Wrecks bring coverage and ratings.

No matter what running 200mph is putting lifes at risk. If drivers don't want like it they don't have to drive. They can always switch sports...... hummmm maybe water balloon toss or how about golf?!?!

Racing and NASCAR used to be about who could outrun who, not about "the big one" and everybody trying to tie for first. The new formula ain't workin for the drivers or the fans. The drivers are pissed and the fans are staying home. They painted the seats so it looks like a full house and the cameras can now pan any direction and not worry about showing empty seats. Yes running 200 is dangerous but running 200 in a pack created by NASCAR is near suicide. All we have today is IROC something NASCAR killed so the new format would work.

No, he should not be fined. He has every right to be frustrated. NASCAR needs to find a way to keep the cars on the ground.

No, Ryan, and no other driver or crewmember, should be punished for expressing their opinion or view on a situation that involves their safety. I concur that NASCAR, in it's attempt to finish the full length of the race, had the drivers competing on a very dimly lit track that certainly didn't add anything to the safety of the situation. Delays like they had, always create a problem making a decision between safety and giving the fans their money's worth.
