Since the great All-Star race was such a snooze-fest, I had a few extra minutes to jot down some random thoughts as I fast-forwarded through the main feature to watch the commercials.

This is a great article. Especially the part about having a beef with Jimmy Spencer. LOL

OMG that was great! And I agree, we need to get rid of Boggity, Boggity and Jimmy Spencer. Spencer very often talks out the wrong hole at the wrong end of his body!

A little of DW just goes a long way. While some of the things he says is entertaining, most just after a time become annoying.

Prime example is the "Wild Thing" Kyle Busch saying. He repeats that over and over to the point where you wonder who he's trying to convince.

I think Kyle is a great driver, reckless, but a great driver however, DW goes a little overboard in regards to and about Kyle.

The thing is if DW was still behind the wheel on the track racing against Kyle, I wonder if he would still think Kyle's so wonderful?

But, Tony Stewart was an open wheel guy before NASCAR. Is he saying that Smoke can't adjust? Also AJ Foyt and Mario Andretti...think they won a Daytona 500. Not sure I buy in to that one particular observation, but the rest was pretty funny.

I know!!!! He just goes on and on about Kyle this and Kyle that. It's like, "We get it D.W. You like the guy. Now please shut up about him." You bring up a good point: If D.W had been wrecked by Kyle, would he want to adopt him?????

Pretty good article. I love boogity though, so I want it to stay. We so need more Saturday night racing. At least one a month.

Yeah, I do like the Boogity Boogity also. That was my ring tone for the longest. Finally my best friend threaten to throw my phone out of the window if she heard it again - haha.

When it's not said though during the race - ya feel like something is missing.

Mario and AJ went over won the Daytona 500 and made it look like it was easy. Do you think any Nascar driver born since 1950 will do that? no!

I personally do not understand how open wheel and NASCAR can be compared.. open wheel, if they touch each other, they get crash..why do people have to compare the 2? the only reason Tony went into NASCAR was because of the financial situation in open wheel..so quit being a snooty snot

Humm Tony pretty much won in anything he driven. Be it USAC car's Winged Sprint car, Stock car. IRL open wheel. Heck put a motor on a shopping cart and he'll find away to put it in VL. As for Tony not bing big orange that been around for quite awhile. and all the DW hating I have one name that tops that. "Rusty" thou thankfully they got him out after one year. DW got the name Jaws for a reason let the guy be himself if ya don't like it hit the closed captions and read the stuff and not read his.

I find it funny alot of people call Kyle reckless but alot of fans that do call him that followed a young reckless guy who by chance got a start in NASCAR because someone else made a wrong call.
http://www.nascar.com/2008/news/headlines/cup... . Over time Kyle will learn it will happen but right now he is making the headlines and that is good for NASCAR no matter what way you take it. yes its alittle tiring to hear wild thing all the time but hey he making moves and taring the tracks up. I just find it funny how some look at driver and call them things that there drive did at one time that was stupid as well. Heck I have thing for the reckless Earnhardt fan, and Tony Stewart fan, Kyle is rubbing off and he can race so I have to say for the 1st time in 10 year now I have a 2nd driver to watch besides Tony.

Kyle is making all of them race.. and with that, he is making NASCAR exciting again.. I want me a Wildthing t shirt real bad
I jus twish that the man who heralds Kyle so,would not have caused Tony to quit driving so aggressively by blaming him for anything on track a couple of years ago... I will never forgive DW for that entire aggressive driving deal..I am glad that Tony drives more wisely now, but I do miss his aggressive moves.

It would be a cool ringtone. I get you, when it's not said, the race jsut doesn't feel the same.
