The simple fact that DJ or Kurt can get into the race, not on qualifing speed or performance in the Twin 125s) is a shame.
These are the situations that stop REAL race fans from enjoying or supporting Nascar.
I'd rather watch my kids race BigWheels in our cul-de-sac...

Yes, the worst is that Sam Hornish is in because of the stupid Top 35 rule. The fastest 42 qualifiers should be in the race each week. If you blow up or wreck, too bad, see you next week.

Well, last season my son finished 3rd.
This year we have high hopes. We modified (removed)the "clicker" on the rear tire to reduce the friction drag. This modification also allows him to run in "stealth" mode and sneak up on the driver in front of him!
DAMN, ain't racing the BEST!

Dale, I'm a full fledged Chevy guy, but I've always rooted for you, not because you drove those nasty Fords, but because of the Man you are. I respect what you stand for. The best of luck in the years ahead, no matter what you do. Really don't like you being in those nastier toys otta though.

They are on AM only, 950, 1260 something like that. Good luck with the reception.

Rules are rules and NASCAR approved of the points swap so Sam Hornish can get into the first five races no matter what.

Kurt put himself in this position. He gave his points to Hornish which
I thought was a bunch of Penske crap

I for one am for the fastest 43 race, I don't care who goes home! I have Sirius radio and listen faithfully to NASCAR channel, they beat this to death, the top 35 rule that is! The sad part is it is a NASCAR rule and we have to live with it and as fans can't change it, But we can complain! I did mine to NASCAR? What good that done? You never know, BUT I'm not holding my breath either! Here's to hoping DJ races his way in! But if he don't and takes the PCP, Remember it's NASCAR's rule!

I am not a penske fan by any means, But the way the rules are set up as a owner it's a smart move.

For me, I would probably enjoy that, also or going up to Eldora when the World of Outlaws come and watch some "real" racing. None of this follow the leader and drafting around the Daytona track, waiting for the big-one to eliminate half the field anyway.
I'll take Kinser and those rough-necks who can power-slide a car through a corner and do a "real" slide-job, not this fake-shit, they call a slide job on asphalt. Come on---let's get real.
For a mere $25 (not a lotta YEN, btw) and an hour drive in my F-150 I am there. Hell I am spending close to $2000 to attend LVMS (plane trip, hotel, race tickets and a damn $60 just to ride the city-bus to the track for three days to see these "pussies" run around on asphalt!).
I must have a "hole-in-my-head"!
Well, at least I get to spend one night over at the LVMS dirt-track watching the USAC and CA dirt sprints run and actually race and actually see a "slide-job", which I will never see on Saturday or Sunday.
Who won the big wheel race?
My goodness Doggybanger! If you don't like NASCAR or asphalt racing why do you watch, just to bitc#?$2000 is cheap! Keep in mind your going to the gambling playground of the world! We just bought our tickets and Hotel rooms for the Oct LMS races, We got front strectch parking, 4-Bank of America 500 seats,4-Seats for BOJangles pole night, 4 Dollar general 300 seats, All for $778 the seats are in grand stand GM sec E at the start-finish line, row 20! The hotel is 4 nights 5 days, I won't mention the brand name But it is 15 mins from the track on a avg day, for $672.00, Now granted I'll have to pay for gasoline ($$$$) our share of the food and beer, Keep in mind this is for four people, 2 rooms! BUT I'm still under $1000.00 my share, after I go back to Raceworld! Did you ever think it may be the location?

Sorry Snow I am half asleep today. I should have explained more. This way he has a better chance of getting his drivers in the show. He feels Kurt is good enough to make most races and if not he can use his provo's. I would probably do the same in his postion. We'll see how it all shakes out. Have a nice day Hon. Happy Valentines!

I'm not paying for anymore seats! From now on, I'm just gonna stand out in the middle of the tarmack and pray nobody runs over me!
