If he is, it's one he owns, Sucker! You secretly like Jr. but you're so jealous of what he has that you don't that putting him down is the only way you can handle it, isn't it. It's okay, come on out of the closet and have a real life. You'll enjoy yourself a lot more.

The title of the article alone is cover for Jooonnyyyrrr's performance. Lets face it, the title should be "Is Jooonnnyyyrrr Turning The Corner", because the team not only turned the corner but is way down the backstretch waiting for Jooonnyyyrrr to catch up!

Wait. Why is it jealousy? Maybe it's a downright disdain for the attention he gets? I'm not sure that's jealous.

Now I'm sure there are far better ways to say Jr is not an exceptional driver. But some people just don't have that kind of tact.

It certainly isn't Jr's fault he gets the attention. Just saying.

Darling, distain for the attention someone else gets IS jealousy. Someone not directly associated to Jr. or anyone else that has not impact of their life has no reason to have distain for another person except jealousy. It's been my experience over the last 50 years or so that people in this situation actually have admiration for the person that are professing disregard for once you get pass their jealousy. Hell, why am I telling you these things for free. They're usually worth a couple hundred dollars an hour.

Why would anyone pay for your misguided information?

Common sense would tell you that you can dislike someone without being jealous of them.

I dislike many people on here and by no means am I jealous of them.

How could anyone be jealous of someone who spends a majority of their time (day, night and weekends) on a chat page?

Think about it (common sense).

The team may well have turned the corner, but it's hard to tell by the on track performance. Just when you think they belong on the same track as their team mates, the driver lets them down. I was actually thinking it looked good for them at Bristol, caution comes out, they restart 4th and backwards he goes again. It just seems that when the chips are down and the other drivers go all in, junior folds. Kinda like European hockey players when it's playoff time, all of a sudden they're invisible.
I am beginning to believe that the fire in the sports car race took more out of him than his father's death, he just doesn't have the competitive desire to compete at this level and doesn't seem to care.

Jr still ended up with a top ten, which was an improvement.

Problem is that I have a problem with the attention he gets, but I am by no means jealous of him and do not admire him.

See Tony gets more than enough attention for me and he's the man I admire. I guess it bothers me when people getting praised for bad performance. That's not jealous.

You've made a good point. I have to ask you this though. Does Jr himself ask them to give him the attention he gets and doesn't deserve?
I really don't believe so. He has stated many times he can't go anyplace in public that he isn't swarmed. His sponsers ask him to endorse their products he does so, just as any other driver. When his daddy passed the media were all over him. I have stated many times they just need to leave him be. I bet he wishes that as well. JMO

You from MI of all people shouldn't talk about someone going to a bar! That's all the people in MI do is work and hang out at a bar because you damn sure can't go outside to do anything for freezing to-death eight months or more out of the year!

Not hardly. There are plenty of sports to do outside in the cold. The thing is to dress in layers.

Not all Michiganders live in bars, just like not all Virginians are closet members of the KKK who shoot their dinner out in the back, and sleep with their mothers.

Stereotypes work both ways.

He doesn't control the media, so don't get upset at him. Press the mute button on your tv, don't click on articles about him, just generally pretend he doesn't exist. I do this to the drivers I don't care for and guess what???? It does wonders for me. I only hear or read about them if I so choose to. You don't have to let someone get pushed down your throat.

Praised for bad performance???? Um, have you read any of the articles or anything this year???? Praise isn't what I would be calling it.
