Of course he's in the running! Jeff gave him 300+ points! Otherwise he would be running for second with the other 10 drivers!

Wah, wah, wah....Jeffy had to give up his big lead! All the drivers knew going in how this years Chase worked. Yes, it was an impressive lead, BUT THEY KNEW FROM DAYTONA, it wouldn't mean shit! I doubt you remember, but in 2005 Tony had a 209 point lead going into the Chase, which was wiped out by that years reseeding garbage. He STILL went on to win the Championship. If your boy Jeffy is any good, he'll be able to do the same thing. If not, he wasn't robbed, no one stole it, and he shouldn't be going for his 6th Cup, or whatever you people think. He has to play under the Chase rules same as anyone. And if he was in second, and Tony had had that 300 point lead, you'd be singing a different tune, now wouldn't you?

BS! Stewrat had a 35 point lead on Biffle! Biffle had 6 wins to Stewrats 5! Stewrat entered the last 10 races in the lead! Why lie?

It is bs when a driver who was sitting in 6th place last week is now the points leader !! And why did Jr. have so many engine problems...hmmm. Dale Sr. should reach down from heaven and shake the hell out of Teresa !!

And another thing why don't we just let nascar pick the winner of each race. I feel it was done a few times this year.......how about you?? Where did the rebel racing go to people, no bump and run, give me a break. Next nascar will want to put turn signals on the cars.

I don't know how to take your last comment Wayde. I follow nascar, I go to races. All i'm saying is....let them race and lets get back to the old points system.

My point exactly! Increase points for winning a race by 20-50 points but don't reward a guy down by 400 points first place over the man who kicked his ass in most of the races! The system was good enough for a 50 years until JR and Stewrat needed the help to make the chase!

Maybe you should learn to read....they said going INTO the chase, not after the chase. Sometimes I wonder about you Wayde ole boy. Selective reading process. It amazes me to no end. Check those stats again and you'll see why Stewart won the Championship that year over Mr. Biffle. 1 extra win means nothing when you don't have the extra top 5 or 10 finishes to go with it. Every position counts.

Wayde I agree with you 100%. Nascar has too many rules, which they only seem to help out the popular drivers. Why didn't Harvick and Montoya get a fine and points docked for their lil show. If they did Kevin would be out of the chase and Jr. would be in. Nascar strikes again.

And heres another idea. Give them points for the pole. We can argue about this 24-7 but, what is fair about a driver in 6th place last week to be the leader in the chase. If the regular season ended last week then why not just let the 12 who made the chase race grrrrrrr. Nascar is messing up a good thing and the fans are going to lose interest. I know alot who already have !!!! No way should Johnson br the points leader!!!!!!!!!!

Let it go already. Sing a new tune. You'll have something new to complain about next year when poor Jr doesn't make the chase.

I agree with you there, he has said it, has felt he has beem given sub-standard equipment for quite awhile. Since the announcement of going to Hendrick; seems his equipment is of very poor quality and if you look back it's been one engine problem after another. His poor dad is not resting in peace; I don't believe for one minute that he would have approved of the way the evil step-mother has treated him. JMO Wow too early to be posting.

Now really Wayde...what does that have to do with the stats you posted from 2005? Honestly, you question everyone else when they post something, but you can't seem to post anything that relates to anything.
