Kyle Busch's weekend wasn't the best

The Coca-Cola 600 began as many Sprint Cup races do. Kyle Busch jumped out to an overwhelming lead pole winner Ryan Newman led a few laps at the outset.

Unfortunatly we cannot control Mother Nature. Kyle and crew made the wrong calls, they just seemed right at the time they made them. Who would have argued with the calls? Even I agreed he should pit (both races). But Mother Nature is not always a race fan, and apparently not a Kyle Busch fan. But Kyle is strong, he is use to the boo's, and now he should be use to Mother Nature.

Take a bow to Mother Nature Kyle, there is always next week.

Kyle moved up in the chase and gained a few points so all was not lost. He is getting all this bad luck out of the way before the chase this year. I am confident we will have the second Busch for a Champion this year!!

I am not a big Kyle fan but, I think they make all drivers pit when it starts raining, and if they go back to racing let them come out of the pits the way they came in and start racing again, I have nothing against Reutimann but somehow it is just not right to end a race that way, maybe I am wrong, just my opinion.

But isn't that what they did? It was the pit stop before they pulled them in for rain that Reuittman, Newman and Robby decided to stay out. Everyone that pitted lined up behind them so that's how they came in when it did start raining again. Just strategy. Not sure how else they can deal with the rain except stopping it until the next day and fans can't hang around forever to see a green flag finish. I've been there for a rain filled 600 and it gets miserable.

Me too, twice at the 600, and you are right it gets miserable. I guess that is how the cookie crumbles, but I sure do like to watch the whole race, but you cant stop the rain.
