Hybrid Camry will be NASCAR pace car next month
A hybrid vehicle will be the official pace car for the first time in NASCAR during next month's Coca-Cola 600.

NASCAR used a Ford Fusion Hybrid at the start of last November's season-finale at Homestead, but it was replaced by a traditional pace car for the rest of the race.
I wouldn't use a Ford for the full race either.
I for one welcome our new Toyota powered Hybrid overlords.
