Maybe there are other drivers having trouble with their race setup, BUT NOBODY in the history of NASCAR has been over-promoted as jr has been since he started in NASCAR!! So to compare ANY OTHER DRIVER with jr is unfair. I find it very amusing as jr is the front guy on advertisements and JJ is behind him...what a farce!!! 25th in points last year top billing a 4 in a row cup champion....Ha Ha Ha. Funny, what goes around comes around and jr is getting his, which is just what he is, a mid-level driver.

When will the Junior Nation faithfull remove their heads from their sixes and realize The Junior is nothing more than a marketing tool for NASCAR?
NASCAR's PR department knows that all those moist pantied girls and "dumber than a bag of hammers" guys will continue to flock to the souvenir stand to buy the newest piece of "Made in China" junk that has The Junior's likeness plastered on it.
It sure would be nice if The Junior nation would learn to think for it self and not be lead around by it's nose.
But alas...what can one expect from moist pantied girls and "dumber than a bag of hammers" guys.
Dare Jl. fans unabre to make own decisions. The guys mirr about tlying to decide which wife-beatel t-shilt to buy to stletch ovel theil big fat pot berries. The gilrs mirr about tlying to detelimine which extla smarr tube top to buy to stlecth ovel theil disgustingry obese mid-dlift.

Yes, you are right, I am jealous of lit'l cry baby ginger head as he tries so hard not to look like Neal Patrick Harris....such success has jr EARNED, that he is the envy of all....and so respected anoumg his fellow drivers too...I wonder if jr is going to put forth his extraordinary talent to head up the tire testing at Indy this year, remember 2 years ago when he spearheaded the tire testing which in turn ended up with a 10 lap tire....just as TS spoke "the no talent SOB".

Jr is a lousy driver, if not for his name and the suckers who make up Junior Nation, who buy all his crap, he'd be changing oil at the local Jiffy Lube.

What in the wide world of sports are you talking about???
Do you intentionally leave out all punctuation or are you just not capable of placing a period in it's proper place?

So what...at least what I do have I have earned myself and not riding on my dad's coat tail. JJ, Jeff G. and a host of others have worked hard to get where they are and deserved all the respect and admiration they can get as well as being role models for our younger generation. As for you, what's it like being an unemployed used up woman of the night that can't even give it away.

Well, not even Jimmie and Chad could get the 48 car to work for the 600. JJ complained that the car was crap from the get go. Tony Stewart, who had a great season last year, can't find a set up to save his soul. Mark Martin, who was the talk of the retiree set last season, can't find the right set up this season. So, are they all bad drivers too?
Not hardly. JJ is a FOUR time CHAMPION, TS is a TWO time champion and MM has finished 2nd in the championship five or more times. They have all won MANY, MANY more races than jooonyer has or ever will. How many times has jooonyer finished 2nd in the points, much less win a championship......GOOOOOSE EGG.

There is a BIG difference between a driver having several bad races and a loser like jooonyer having multiple bad YEARS.

What't the worst that JJ, TS or MM has finished in the championship points? That's what I thought.

Funny, the other drivers seem to be able to work with their teams and get their cars to be competitive, but for some reason, Junior is hampered by the engineers that build the cars. Which, by the way, are essentially the same cars the rest of the field is in. Everybody has off days now and then, but with Junior he's consistently off but it's never his fault. This is the fourth season that Junior has been "struggling" with two different owners, garages, teams....yet we still keep excusing him...surely it can't be his fault...it simply can't be the driver.
I am not blaming anyone. I was reporting what I saw at the race and my opinion of what is happening. Eventually the team (race day and shop) will click. The shear number of people involved to prepare the car is mind boggling. Many of the teams and drivers both popular & unpopular struggled at the 600. I don't think that these driver are poor communicators or are all in inferior equipment. Chemistry of an entire team or race organization may not be there, but blaming the driver, crew chief and owner are the easy answers. Bottom line Junior can drive.
