Maybe Pocono should have waited to "go green" with their millions of dollars solar plant and invested in a few more safety barriers. Thank God and Dale for the safe car and equipment but Pocono needs to be jerked up for not having safe walls ANYWHERE a car might hit. Elliotts and Kurts hits reminded me of Steve Parks and Jrs. hits in 2001.

Exactly well said could not agree with you more HOW MANY MORE NEAR DEATH ACCIDENTS have to Happen till they close this poor excuse for a racing track that needs to be entirely resurfaced catch fences installed safer barriers cement infield.
THE DRIVERS HAVE NO SAY WERE THEY RACE WE THE FANS MUST PROTEST THIS MATTER TILL ITS CORRECTED.
IMAGINE THIS if they just resurface the track the drivers will have more control of the car making it a faster track.

I think the racing team managers should take this up very seriously with the NASCAR authorities. Itís their job to look out for their driverís interests. Some teams like RCR Racing ( http://hartfordauto.thehartford.com/Hartford-... ) go out of their way to demand the rights of their drivers. Others need to follow too and only then will NASCAR officials take track safety more seriously.
