Just like Robin Miller said on Dave Despain's Wind Tunnel BEFORE Toyota entered Sprint Cup, that Toyota would hire the best staff and drivers from existing teams and upset the balance of power (providing engines and chassis, which is one half of your budget each season), like they did with IndyCar before they were caught cheating (turbo intake plenums and boost bypass)... oh, also Honda did get caught cheating the same way too! Funny, Ford, Chevy and back when Buick competed they were LEGAL. Remember the NASCAR engine power chassis test where a magnet was placed under the throttle pedal to prevent full carburetor venturi opening... kudos to the inspector that saw this blatant attempt at falsification of data. Yes, Joe Gibbs Racing was the culprit... Gall Dang! How does cheating set with the Lord above, eh?

Roush did seem kind of on the bubble as far as the business side of things so I think this move is just what Kenseth needed to save his career.

If kenseth were to win the championship with Gibbs, would he be the first to win it with two different owners or with two different manufacturers? Actually no he won't, both Richard Petty and Darrell Waltrip have done both
