Is it time for the US Attorney to step in and deal with District Attorney Mike Ramos and state AG Jerry Brown? Please visit www.sbgrapevine.com to learn more.

No it's not. I say let Ramos and Brown do whatever the hell they want. They should be above the law in every way. Don't ever question their authority again.

50,000? On what planet did the person providing this "estimate" come from? 25,000, if you were lucky.

Face it, this track is dying. They've priced the tickets out of reach of the average family. With the cheapest ticket being $35, you're looking at spending $200 for a hot afternoon, buying severely overpriced food and drink, while instead you could be at home, watching the same race on television.

Riverside speedway failed. Ontario speedway failed. Ascot Park failed. Maybe Fontana ought to learn a lesson about why these other tracks failed first, before it is too late to save this one.

The track seats about 100,000 so I'd say they probably did have about 50,000 on Sunday.

The problem is the track is just no fan friendly anymore. They've fenced in the whole area now for security reasons I guess, but it sure seems like overkill. I'm mean there is absolutely no reason for any of the souvenir trailers or fan activities to be fenced in for ticket holders only. Those are for marketing purposes, you want people to come and get a taste of racing and the atmosphere.

As for the track prices, they are ridiculous. They were selling little CPK personal pizzas for $10!

Sorry, Jen, but off-topic comments have no place here, unless you can tell us all how to link last weekend's speedway race to the upcoming elections. Please, enlighten us with your wisdom, otherwise, I'll keep reporting such spam.
