Will Kyle Busch miss the Chase?

Yes, it seems like a ridiculous question, but take a look at the points and you see that Kyle is 9th in the points and only 48 points ahead of 13th-place Kasey Kahne.

I would love to see Kasey in the chase over Kyle. Maybe it is what Kyle needs to bring his head out of his arse.
Maybe....but somehow I doubt it'll work.

KB will probably make the chase, but what really worries me is who is going to be "the face of the chase" with jr 20th in points(this came from NASCAR) What's up with that??? Here is JJ with 3 straight, Tony, Jeff, Kurt B, Matt all with championships( Jeff Gordon with seven (4 driver, 3 owner) and the first consideration for "the face of the chase" is no sprint championship jr...Sorry people, but that is lame, really lame.
Mabey NASCAR should extend the chase again, to the top 20.....
Top 20 sounds good to me!

Why not just start the season with ten races to go and let the fans vote in the top 12. Then rest of the field can go home and go about their merry way....Better yet, just do away with all the races and let the fans vote for the winner of each race and the champion, this way, NASCAR's most popular driver can win races, win championships, and the rest of the drivers can go and race elsewhwere.

Now, I agreed with you on the top twenty idea, but I think you are getting a little carried away with some of these new ideas of your. You're pushing the envelope a little too far.

I meant the first half of the season, dur. and what about the Nationwide and truck series? who do you think dominated there? Oh yeah, Kyle!
Who won the Nationwide championship last year, I don't think it was Kyle.

Who won the truck series last year, I don't think it was Kyle.

Kyle did not dominate the start of this season, I think Tony Stewart is currently in first place, not Kyle. Before that I think it was a Hendrick driver in first, was it not?

Sorry but your boy Kyle is choking again. I think Karma is after his ass for smashing a trophy.

He's choking prior to the Chase this year. Now if he can just keep himself in the top 12 he might just give Tony a run for his money. And I think Tony is the guy to beat this year. He has everything to prove and nothing to lose.

He does seem like a sweet guy, OK just a hug. I came very close to getting his autograph and they cut the line, maybe next time.

That's better than crying on national television because you're so disappointed you couldn't finish the race well, AGAIN.

Seriously people. You'd complain no matter what. Either he'd be whiny or he's not talking to the media. Waahhhh!!!

What the hell do you want? Do you want PC puppets or racers? Do you want guys who'll settle for second best or do you want guys who settle for nothing less than the win?

I'll tell you what I want. I want real racers out there. Not some watered down, PC version of a racer. I want guys like Tony out there. Guys who settle for nothing less than first and speak their mind no matter what. Guys who aren't interested in being the most popular driver in Nascar, who don't care about keeping up appearances. Maybe if we had more guys like that out there the racing would be better.

And frankly. Those of us who don't see Kyle's attitude as an issue, laugh at those of you who get so worked up you'd wish him out of the series instead of having a good racer out there.

Just a thought.

Just because Jr can't make it? The face of the Chase should be Tony or Jimmie. Why? Because they are both going for things that have either never been accomplished or haven't been done in quite some time.

We should change the rules just to accommodate Jr Nation??? Talk about making a move that would drive Nascar's ratings in to the ground.

Obviously you can't comprehend what I said, I said He won half of the races in each series LAST YEAR, I didn't say he won the championship. Please educate yourself.

They're already talking about how to change the rules so that Jr can get in to the Shootout in Feb, because at this rate, he won't be in it.

But that is Nascar. I guess they can do whatever they want. How does Jr impact their decisions?

Other than his childish behavior he can drive. Once he grows up he will have a huge following in the Nascar series. I have a feeling the Jr. Nation will jump on his bandwagon after jumping off that sinking ship.
