I have never seen him like this. Usually he is quite chatty in his interviews, but this time....geesh it was almost like he didn't know what to say.

That looks like post race, with a side of severe depression. He looks like he's about ready to throw in the towel and give up. Hendrick needs to invest in some therapy for that man, no ifs ands or buts about it.

The only thing more pathetic than Junior himself is his fans trying to make everybody and everything else responsible for Junior and his failings. If Junior needs therapy (and we're in agreement on that) it's up to Junior to invest the time and money to get it, it's not Hendrick's responsibility. Junior is a full grown man (though he doesn't act like one), he is 100% responsible for the direction his career is taking, for his own health care, and for his own failures. Rick is not his Daddy and the team is not there to hold Junior's hand, Junior is a big boy he's supposed to be taking care of himself on the track and in real life.

Just look at it!! http://danspitstopracing.com/yahoo_site_admin...

3 cars in the camp have day-glo yellow numbers slanted one way, and the car with a different slant and number color is failing miserably. Find the difference, make the change. There's all kinds of superstitions in the world, and this should be one of them.

Man, is it me or was Jr starting to cry in this interview? Wow, he looks like he is ready to quit driving altogether. If I was making his kind of money for driving a car, I would not be this unhappy. There must be a underlying problem here. Maybe alcoholism or something that he is dealing with.

^But he doesn't drive a racecar for money and money isn't a guarantee to bring you happiness in your life. He wants to succeed in this sport and he is confused and perplexed as to why they can't figure it out.

No offense intended, But do really think he doesn't drive for the money? IMO I think it is the only reason he drives. He just isn't into this like he should be.

If he drove for money, he wouldn't have made the commments he did. I read an article this morning which stated that we in Jr nation should be happy he said what he said because it shows that he does care. If he wasn't into racing, he wouldn't be getting so upset over this whole situation. Even Mr H is pleased he said what he said. Because it shows he isn't happy with how things are going and wants things to improve.

What is he going to say when he drives for the best team, with the best equipment, with the best teammates, and a crew cheif that has been on the most championship winning teams in NASCAR history, and he is FAILING miserably. He realizes now that the wicked step-mother was right and she was smart for getting rid of him. It is sinking in that he doesn't have what it takes and he will never be a championship caliber driver. He has failed his team, Mr. H and himself. He knows it is time to go back to changing oil at his dad's old dealership and let someone capable take the wheel of the 88. Of course he's speechless, anyone would be if they were in his position with lack of talent and let everyone down that believed in you.
