"OMG!" and happy screaming are what my neighbors heard this afternoon in a small town located 40 miles south of Grand Rapids Michigan.(I moved and just got cable and internet so i missed the first part of this years season.) The return of Casey Atwood to the Nationwide Series has left me sooo excited and completely in awe. My only hope is that his new team gives him the chance to prove himself that Evernham never gave him. I remember when Casey entered this rookie season in 2001. I watched him as a young driver ready to prove to the world that he could win and do the best job that he could. He is a good person with a heart the size of his home state of Tenneessee. So "Go Casey Go!" And remember one fan will never loose faith in you no matter where you are.

Don't get too excited sister,Casey is with a team they refer to in the racing business as a start and park team.Start the race and after a few opening laps pull into the garage with some sort of parts failure. It still is great to see him at the track if anything to possibly get some other real team to offer him a real ride. Go Casey !!!!!

Although the 31-W team has been a S&P in the past, they are actually running races this season with Casey in the seat. With the exception of a few tracks that have a small purse, like Darlington, Casey will be driving and NOT PARKING! I'm happy to see him driving and agree that he would be better off with a bigger team, but under the circumstances, I'm glad he has a ride and they're actually running. He's been putting up pretty good qualify times and I hope he has a great season!
