Small plates and no passing zones and no drafting or beating or banking. What are we watching? RC cars? Shut Dega down if you won't let them RACE there. There's been 3 big accidents that have proven that this car can take a beating and keep the drivers safe so why make even more changes. What you have is working. Let them race.

That's banging, not banking. LOL! There's definitely banking.

Its more an effort to keep them from getting worse. Or haven't you noticed that bump drafting has been getting riskier with every race? If they didnt stand up and say something, they'd have been wrecking right away, and more consistently every race. |

The tarck was designed for speed and like anything else it has become a show that know one wants to watch. Yes it was boring but it also did not disapoint. Wrecking is why we watch not the points race which is a whole other dicussion. People like carnage and that is why we watch racing. Nascar created this deal now the have to deal with the problems. They are loosing fans quick.

absolutely the worst Dega race in my lifetime. No, real fans don't watch just to see wrecks. We enjoy the sport and competitiveness. Wrecking is part of that (and exciting) but not why we watch.

Agreed. And there were times when they gave us a show, but its an endurance race. It's not all-out drive like it's the last lap action people would prefer seeing. But remember that although its great they try to give the fans a show, they also have finishing a race to worry about. How about if all the fans who bitch and complain bring your own cars for them to drive a no-points race?! I'm sure they wouldn't mind banging your ride up for you! And I can sympathize with those who bought tickets and drove out to see the race, but if what you expected was the best race ever at Tally, then its your own fault for having such expectations. That's what you get for assuming in the 1st place. |

hey nascar fyi....I didnt watch the nationwide race today. Its the first race in 10 years that I missed. I may fine something else to do tomorrow also. I am still mad about the quality of racing we saw last week. The real fans really do not watch just to see the big one, we watch to see the action. Last Sunday was a sad sad day. I hope that other nascar fan boycott the race tomorrow.
