Apparently what Jr should have done was just hold his line when vickers came down on him. That probably would have just spun vickers to the inside while the rest of them went right on by.
But Jr was there when vickers came down and Im tired of these drivers who expect that the other drivers should be giving them something. Jr was already inside but vickers like usual, thinks hes owed that spot.
That being said. Jr blew it when he came back up. I mean the way he came back up. But in his defence, He needed to get back up quickly. The turn was coming up fast and nobody wants to merge in the turn at speed.
So I think theyre both at fault. But vickers in his continual immaturity started it. Kinda like Dega. Hes a spaz and expects others to pay for it.

If Jr can't "whipp butt" no better than he can drive. He needs to take my advice and stay out of the gararge. Damn if he wouldn't get hurt.

Am not one of his fans but that wasn't his fault.Vickers put a block on Jr and he could not get back in..Jr would have not wreck all those cars...

Junior would never have wrecked the field intentionally.. Vickers should not have blocked him!

I wouldn't say that exactly, but when you block and get wrecked it's your own fault. There has been a ton of wrecks due to blocking in the past and no penalites were given, its plate racing!! But because Jr was invloved in causing it, it becomes blown way out of proportion, Jr gets unfairly attacked even by media, why? It gets attention and thats exactly what they want. I have a good memory, next time it happens with another driver, I'll be on here giving ol hell and I can bet right now that drivers fans will try and make all kinds of excuses of how it was different. A fan will always defend thier driver whether they are right or wrong, if they don't they ain't a true fan.

Earnhardt fans I know you "people" are not that damn blind..... If you are, than then tell me how and hell do you watch TV.... And how do you drive home from the races or go about normal duties.... Stevie Wonder or Ronnie Milsap could see who cause that wreck and what make it sad.... it was deliberately.

Earnhardt fans are not blind. We know what we saw was a racing incident. I'd likt to take 43 of the posters on the Earnhardt forum like Ramsey and Jr8er, put ya'll in a stock car, and make ya'll drive 190mph in a pack like that and see if you dont wreck.

It really is funny, Joonyer is a bit above average driver at best, AT BEST, Joonyer had, even for Joonyer, a very bad day at Daytona missing his pits, Somebody get him a Garmin, then pitting out of the legal pit box and got frustrated at his own failure and put a bonehead move and destroyed nine cars. Multi time Cup Champion D. Waltrip had the guts to place the blame on his beloved "June Bug" and rightfully so and now all of the Joonyer supporters come on and say, "You did not see what you saw", "Joonyer did not clip Vickers on the way down under the double yellow line and did not hit him in the Q-panel on the way back up" Joonyer was a frustrated driver last Sunday, frustrated at his own ability to make pit stops and, again, be the weak link in the Hendrick line up of drivers. This is his second year with Hendrick, what will it take for one of the Joonyer Supporters to ever say Joonyer is at fault for anything?

His pit board was too small or the wrong color, not seeing the pit box was NOT Joonyer's fault.

He was not that far out of bounds in the last stop, fill in the Joonyer supporter multiple choice.
(1) His tire was on the line and not over the line, he should not have been penalized.

(2) It is a dumb rule and should not be in the book, of course it only became a dumb rule after it effected Joonyer.

(3) The pit official should have not looked so hard, he only made the call because it was Joonyer.

Without a doubt (the proof is on tape) Jr. is to blame for the multi-car crash! The whole race watching world and I saw Jr.'s front bumper clip Vickers' rear bumper causing the spin and subsequent melee that followed!

You'd have to be blinded by biased devotion to Earnhardt not to see he was the culprit here.

I'm not saying it was intentional, but he definitely caused the chain reaction.

as would anybody who thought they could do better

And all of the haters/detractors come on and say, "You did not see what you saw"

The fans so called excuses would also apply if the drivers name was Stewart, Gordon, Johnson, etc. Point is, it is not just Jr fans who make "excuses" for their driver it is every fan of every driver who does it.
