I think Gordon crossed a line in questioning Earnhardt Jr's driving ability. Sure, Dale Sr. knocked his share of cars out of the way, but I've never seen Jr. do anything of the sort. Also, why is Gordon talking about Jr. when the only guy who came out of this weekend angry is Jimmie Johnson? Go calm down your teammate before launching criticism at someone who doesn't deserve it.

Side note: With NASCAR getting the backing of ABC and ESPN, what do you think will happen with the IRL's tv deal? I highly doubt that ESPN will run a Cup race on ESPN and an IRL race on ESPN2 at the same time. Could this be further spelling doom for open wheel racing?

I don't think that Vickers deserved that win. If anything he should have been penalized. Here Jeff Gordon has to stand there and whine for 10 minutes about how he thinks Dale Jr. shouldn't be bump drafting (if he doesn't like it maybe he shouldn't be a racer if that is what he is supposed to be)(Thats racing Jeffy) and then HIS team-mate goes and does something like that.

OH WHATEVER! Brian totally deserved that win, he has been racing hard in many races for many wins, and has had a couple taken away from him. Big deal he spun out everyone's favorite driver, its about time that jr. actually had trouble winning these restrictor races. I mean omg! Brian doesn't deserve to win just because he spun out jr! please.

And at least Jeff speaks what is on his mind, jr. bores me when they interview him, he looks as if he has no interest, its a wonder they WANT to interview him... oh yeah, they have to cuz everybody loves him so much... well not me.

Maybe you should read up on what Gordon's real comments are. What he said was taken totally out of context. The reporters ask those kinds of attention to get people feuding and drawing more people in. Gordon says what a good driver Jr is and how great Jr's car was. Get all the facts before you judge people.

STRANGE HOW ALL DRIVERS ARE WHINING EXCEPT FOR THE SPECIFIC ONE THAT A PERSON PULLS FOR. THEN TO TRANSLATE THAT THEORY TO THE FANS THEY MUST BE WHINING EVERYTIME THEY SAY SOMETHING ABOUT A DRIVER OTHER THAN THE ONE THEY PULL FOR. INTERESTING, VERY INTERESTING. LET ME STUDY THIS A LITTLE FURTHER, I MIGHT BE ON TO SOMETHING.

I can't believe a grown man can be that big of a cry baby Unless everybody slows or stops so he can win somebody is going to make him cry .Vickers races to hard JR. bumps to hard if he don't win its everybody elses fault. Why doesen't the old foggy retire and stay home and save himself a little stress.

Jr is the only driver I'd rather see lose more than than I loved to see his Dad lose.

NASCAR is racing's equivalent of championship "wrestling" anyway.

Anytime you stick a microphone in a driver's face right after he has been knocked out of a race, you will hear a lot of frustration, especially if the race was important personally.

Earnhardt, in his comments, failed to mention the word "bump", as in bump- drafting, which is what Gordon was complaining about. The rules say you can't bump-draft through the corners, but since when do Earnhardt fans care about the rules.

As one who has observed the behavior of Earnhardt fans (Sr. & Jr.)from far and near, there seems to be some common traits. They usually have difficulty stringing syllables together, think beer is a food staple, and could use a shower. The one thing they do well is throw things on the track. Real class!

Well I'm sorry you don't understand much. Go back to school and learn something why dontcha! Want me to break it down for you huh little baby? Okay.

In simplest form for the under class... Brian deserved to win. He could have won before, but just lost out at the end. He almost won at Lowe's, had the best car, but wrecked late.

I also said that Jeff doesn't whine, he speaks his mind. Jr. is boring to listen to because he shows no interest. Got it now! Gosh.

Actually I do have a bachelors degree, so I do not think I need to go back to school. What I was saying is that I have a had time understanding what jr. is saying. His speech and grammar, really butcher the english language.

Really sorry there dude, you didn't make yourself that clear is all. I thought you were referring to me. I need to think sometimes before I type, but I absolutely apologize. I guess I am the one that needs to go back to school :P. but yeah, jr. is just not a fun person to listen to.
