Sort of like when Sr. wrecked cars in his way to win a race. Racing Deal

Sr. would have sucked if he didn't have front fenders and a front bumper on that s... box bo-tie he drove.

Dale Sr is the best driver of all time. What happened at the 500 was just plain stupid on Vickers part. He took Jr and teammate Jimmie Johnson out at Talladega and nothing was said about that. Jr had a very bad day. Thats all so why blast him about. Nascar didn't blame either one so lets drop it.

Sr. in the '89 had a car qualified on the pole for him. Sr. couldn't qualify worth shit but someone different could. How can Sr be so good when some of his records aren't his?

Jeff Gordon now has the records and Dale Sr. has nothing. History will show that one of the best all time drivers was Jeff Gordon not Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Dale Earnhardt SR was the best race car driver We have ever seen. The Jeff Gordon that we watched race in 1996-2000 is gone. Iam not saying he is not going to win any more races or even another championship,Jeff will never even come close to Dale SR. Kyle Busch is about the only driver that might do it.He is still young. And the cars are alot safer now. Thanks to Dale SR.Today Makes 8 years he has been gone .I still miss seeing him race.

I beg to differ. Sr. may have been ONE of the best drivers of our time, but not THE best. I think Richard Petty may have something to say about that. First to 7 championships, 200 wins and all....
Either way, Sr.'s son will only ever be a footnote to that history, slightly better than Kyle Petty, ok maybe a bit more than slightly better, but hey Kyle won a few, too. Junior will never win a championship, in fact, he won't even make the Chase this year, mark my words. But, he will sell a buttload of jeans, shirts and diecast cars. That's something to be proud of.... and he always has his little redneck Neverland Ranch he built himself, so he can drown his sorrows in his little western bar...

How can you say Sr wasn't and Jeff is. That is only cause Sr died and wasn't here to keep his claim. Maybe you should insert foot in mouth. History still shows how great a person Sr was so get off yer high horse. Dale got wrecked in his car. he got out did a 360 and continued to race it finishin in the top 10. Now lets see yer driver or any other driver do that? I serously doubt that would happen. Actually Sr did and could qualify good just as he finished in the top 10 if he didn't win. You need to do a lil more history before you start ranting and raving

I'm sorry but Kyle will NEVER come close to Dale Sr. Jeff would be the runner up for that and I don't really like him that much either but atleast he ain't a snot nosed punk like Kyle. LOL Sorry had to say it.

Old Dale Earnhardt couldn't hold Jeff Gordon's catch can. When superior drivers like Jeff started appearing in NASCAR, old Dale knew it was over.

Kyle won 8 cup races,10 nationwide and 3truck races.Last season. Jeff got no wins.Kyle did pretty good his first season with a new team. Jeff was good in his day, But that is long gone now.He has done really well for a snot nosed kid. He is going to do great things for this sport.

Fine tell me about Dale Sr. Compare the Brickyard 400s, Daytona 500s, and the road courses. History doesn't lie Sr was nothing. In his era he didn't even get the most wins.

I will say anything I want too about the Earnhardts. Sr only had 8 wins in his last 5 full seasons in cup. He was done for before the wreck that finished him off.

Many drivers can spin and win. FED EX should ship you old race tapes.

Hey Riggs had a pretty good day, did you see that save? Unbelievable!! But what happened to Mayfield? I saw him go to the pits and lift the hood but I never heard the announcers say what happened to his car. He did finally come back out. I was hoping for a decent day for him too.

Kinda ironic when Dale Sr. made the choice not to try to win a race(blocking for Mikie), it was his last race.....ponder that thought for a while...

That was a great save that Riggs did. I'm sure the problem on Mayfields car was a broken shock mount.
