It will be interesting to see what they find. I'm sure if they are found to be out of NASCAR's book it will put a huge * next to KB's 8 wins.

Did they ever star any of Jimmy Johnsons wins? How many times has Knaus been given 6 week vacations? Or Tony Eury, Jr., for that matter? Did you even read teh article that this fairly biased opinion piece is written from? Here's a direct quote:

"Following the conclusion of Sunday's Pep Boys Auto 500, it was announced NASCAR was taking the rear end housing of the No. 18 car to the NASCAR R&D Center in Concord, NC simply to check the measurements. However, a NASCAR spokesman explained officials "don't think it's a problem.""

Reading comprehension and critical independent thinking apparently escape Junior Nation (as a whole, not you directly, though you do fit) and the rest of the KB/Toyota detractors....

Hey azzhole:

A NASCAR spokesman says sanctioning body officials have found that the rear housing taken from the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota driven by Kyle Busch following the Sprint Cup Series race Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway was within the rules.

NASCAR took the rear housing to its research and development center in Concord, N.C., to be measured electronically and found it to be in compliance with the rules, according to the spokesman, so the team will not face any penalties.

Hey mental midget, all I said was there is a big difference between confiscated and taken! Learn how to read with comprehension!!! The article obviously displays the word "confiscated"!!!

The rear-end housing has been confiscated by NASCAR and will be further inspected at the NASCAR R&D center in Concord, N.C. upon the official return this week.

Read it and weep Dumbo!!!

You were quoting the bleacher report blog, which is an OPINION piece written by a blogger with a disdain of Kyle Bush. The actual story that she blogged about, AND WAS LINKED TO IN HER BLOG, used the word "taken". Learn to both read and cite legitimate sources. I hold a Mensa card, so I don't think I'm a mental midget. I can also follow opinion pieces back to their sources and form my own opinion. You seem to be happy being spoon fed the pablum. Hope that works out for you!

Perhaps reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. I quoted the original story, NOT THE ONE ON BLEACHER REPORT, which is a personal blog. The story I quoted, if you read it, said "taken", not "confiscated". The opinion piece substituted the word confiscated. So while, yes, you quoted the opinion piece, and are correct that she used the word confiscated, I, on the other hand, actually followed the link in that opinion piece and read the ACTUAL ARTICLE. It used the word "taken". And since the 18 has been cleared of any wrongdoing, I guess it doesn't matter whether they took it, confiscated it, or shoved it up your azz. My original point, dumbo, was to wonder whether or not Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., or any other driver/team that HAVE been caught cheating should have stars next to their wins. Or, should it only be Kyle Bush and any other Toyota team? I realize this post got rather long, I'll give you a few hours to suss it all out. Feel free to ask for help if you need it...

DUH!! Topix states that a 'fan' wrote that article, NOT an official reporter. NO cheating. they are in the clear. Nascar takes parts from cars each week and checks them. It was 18 turn.
NO CHEATING WAS FOUND. WAS WITHIN RULES

Again, I did read the bleacher report blog, which is not an article, it's an opinion piece. I also followed the link in that opinion piece to the actual ARTICLE it was based on....you know, the source? And what I found was that the blogger put her own spin on things by substituting confiscated for taken. I pointed that out in my first post way up this list, by posting a direct quote from the source article. You responded as follows:

Direct quote my azz!!! There's a world of difference between "taking" and "confiscating"!

You then went on to call me a mental midget and dumbo in a later post. My whole point was, the opinion piece directly linked to was a distortion, and your gleeful carping about confiscation furthered that distortion. When I tried to ask a question about other drivers and cheating, that was ignored in favor of belittling me, Kyle Bush and anyone else who didn't fit your agenda for that moment. Either way, there was no infraction, so, this opinion piece is worth exactly squat. Thanks for the debate....

The article uses the word "CONFISCATED" not "TAKEN" which is all I was pointing out!!! I don't give a good GD about Kyle Busch and certainly not about you!!! The whole planet knows what I'm saying here even if you choose not to!!! How does it feel to be the only one incapable of comprehending the obvious???
