Blah, blah, blah. Did anyone really expect him to come out and say it was a big advantage? Who knows how much of an advantage it was or wasn't. The point is, it was done to gain an advantage. Everyone tries some little tricks here and there, sometimes you pay the penalty when you take that risk. I know how much people like to talk about this team or that team cheating, but come to reality people. People have been tweaking cars since racing began and yes, by tweaking I mean bending or stretching the rule book. Anyone who thinks there's a crew chief or driver out there who hasn't/doesn't do this, I have some ocean front property in Arizona I'd like to sell you. I especially get a kick out of the supposed, "Old School" fans when they act like this is some modern problem. Believe me, or don't, the drivers of old, made these modern guys look like choir boys in the tweaking department. so, enough of all this nonsense about cheating. Either accept that it's a practice by everyone out there, or keep living in the naive world of a child. Basically, if your a fan of anyone who races, your a fan of cheating. They sometimes get caught and they're willing to pay the penalties for the potential gain. Oh wait! unless your on Jack Roush's team. He never seems to be willing to pay the penalty. Come on Jack, who are you kidding? The world is not out to get you, just take your lumps and quit all the damn whining.
