Nascar just doesn't get it and I guess never will. Put a blade on the back, dump the side plates on it, dump the splitter on the front and get rid of the side skirts. Then let the boy's go racing with something that looks somewhat like a car. If they can't handle it then find a driver that can. They used to do it at speeds faster than today. When was the last time a new qualifing record was set? Back in the 70's they ran faster than they do today with 1/2 the HP powering a brick.

Hey I got another idea. Let's go to a museum and get ol' Richard's Super Bird out and see what he can do with it down at Dayton in a test, He'd love it. Then later let ol' Bill get out his Melling T Bird and see if he can break his 212 record at Teg'a bet he could wring 214+ with the new tires.
Brian and Stooges get you head's out of your a****.
