Brad Kelelowski is tool. He needs to be aware of others on the track. Some other drivers could have been killed or seriously injured because of his arrogance, not to metion if Edwards' car went into the stands. I know Carl was blocking, but Keselowski went up the track into his rear quarter. NASCAR should have black flagged him for driving dangerously.
Watch the replay, Carl came down and Brad stayed right there. Brad knew if he went below the yellow line, even forced he would have had to finish at the rear end of the field. Even Carl said that himself. Great race Brad.

That's not quite true. Brad could certainly go below the line, he just wouldn't have been allowed to pass Carl below the line. I'm not saying I would expect BK to back off, but he certainly could have avoided the accident if he chose to, without going to the end of the lead lap.

Brad did what he was supposed to, and that is fight for the win, so he earned that win, JMO.

Absolutely. I have no problem with what BK did. He had every right to the position, but it isn't true that he would have been put at the end of the lead lap if he went below the line. I don't have a problem with what CE did either. He made a small mistake that cost him big.

Maybe Nascar should consider using rules like other forms of racing. For instance, in horse racing if a horse impedes another horse they are disqualified. The same is true in most types of racing. It seems odd to me that Nascar doesn't have a rule that says if you impede another driver's path you'll be placed behind the other driver at the end. That way a driver like Brad would understand that he could swerve to avoid wrecking someone, but still win the race. If they want to continue to allow blocking, that's fine. Just make the rule be that if you throw a block, and you aren't clear, you will be disqualified.

That is what commentators said before the race. I think I will write the ask.com and see if they have now changed that rule.

I was not there thank goodness, but D. W. as well as Carl said it. Now even on the last lap you and fighting for position below the yellow line, meant Brad would have had finished at the tail end of the longest line. Also mentioned at the drivers meeting that day. So while we wait and see what their new rules will be, we wait.

Carl is an immature child. Not for one or two incidents. But for his childish attitude many times over years. Every driver gets hot and may have some acts of immaturity. But Carl's immaturity shows much more often. He has absolutely no control over his own emotions, EVER. I've quit watching Nascar for several reason, and Carl is one of them. I started watching Nascar in 1970. But it's no longer NASCAR. It's wrestling in prefabbed cars now.

If there is an immature driver in NASCAR it is Brad K. In an after race interview he was cold as stone and never mentioned that he hoped the injured fans in the stands were O.K. Yes, Cousin Carl was very generaous in his comments, I am glad he was still alive to be interviewed.
Did we all forget this time when Brad injured someone when "he" started the feud between himself and Carl? I'm afraid people have selective memories with all the july 2010 event rational sounding the hate Carl blogs and stories
