I'll second that...I wish Baseball and Nascar was all over as soon as football starts...end of September at the latest

There is one problem with rusty's argument. So they take away 4 races. 4 races from where? For arguments sake say we remove one Pocono race. that will increase demand for the other pocono race, but it wont increase demand for , say, fontana. Now while demand will increase for the remaining pocono race, revenues wont increase for local buisnesses that lose that 2nd race crowd. The problem with Nascar losing popularity is not the long season, its all the changes to the product over the last decade. The COT, the Chase, the rules, ect ect ect.

A$$CAR could remove 10 parades, I mean races, and no one would care at all. Fox is trying to bleed anything they can from this dead franchise so they will push for as much exposure as they can get, no matter how many people could care less.
