Well it's nice to see that Brad Keselowski has finally made it big in racing
after all these years. For a guy who has been racing all his life it's
finally starting to pay off for him. Who would have thought that this guy
would make the big time especially way back when he was just starting out as
a kid two years ago. Back in the days when Keselowski was probably
wrenching on some teams drum brake Winged Hemi Dodge Charger I bet he never
thought he would be in the drivers seat today. It has taken Brad years of
dedicated hard work to get to this point in his life. There are many a
qualified racer who will never make it to the big time like Brad has. Dale
Earnhardt Sr. was 29 before he made it into the big time. Harry Gant was
almost 40. Wait a minute if Keselowski is 23 three years old how could he
have been a wrench on those Winged Dodges back in the sixties when Bobby
Issac turned 200 at Talladega. That was almost forty years ago. Something
isn't right here. Let's see now I realize Keselowski has been racing all
his life and in his earlier years was a pretty good wrench--no something
just doesn't add up. Of course I really don't know all the facts like how
long he wrenched on race cars. I don't even know how many years Brad spent
building his own race cars and running racing them on the local 1/4 mile
dirt Bull Rings. I don't even know how many years Brad was running the local
short tracks before he got a break into the big time. I guess it's just
another success story of how a young kid worked very hard and was able to
make his way up the ladder. As usual I'm sure Brad did it all on his own
and probably without any help from his parents on anybody else for that
matter. Keselowski should be a very proud man when he looks back at all of
his achievements especially when it seems like it was only two years ago
that he was just a kid. Keselowski probably had to make a lot of sacrifices
over many years in order to make it. Boy this just shows you how time fly's.
You know Brad Keselwoski probably is a good kid and a great racer but the
above just goes to show how much NASCAR racing has changed since back in the
days when The Nexti-Cup Series were running their Cot shows out at the old
Infinion Raceway. Try not to be so sarcastic. See you at the next race.
