Let's see if Robbie Gordon can make it TWO ROAD COURSE VICTORIES. That way all the people that have been getting down on Robbie will shut up. But then again I'm sure NASCAR will find another way to take that victory away from him too.

I still do not blame Robbie for his decision up in Canada. I am pretty sure that if he had not done what he did, that NASCAR would never have admitted that they messed up placing him back in the field if he had follow their direction. Robbie Gordon is a great race car driver. He seems to have learned as Tony Stewart has, that when you dent your own fenders, you no longer have a fast car..I am glad that it was Marcus Ambrose who was in the altercation with Robbie last week. His easy going nature has made this quite the media opportunity for both drivers. Robbie is going to be OK and he will probably be able to run in the top 10 every race by next year.

Now as for Jeff Gordon,,, he is right, he has no advantage starting up front with a car that he said was not fast yesrterday.. in fact, I hope he finds a way to safely get back to where he belongs.. This is another part of the rained out qualifying problem that NASCAR has.. not only do some of the faster go or go homers go home, but not as good cars are going to be in the way of the cars that should be up front.. it might not be pretty and some fenders might get knocked in..if NASCAR can have a practice the day after qualifying, they can have qualifying that day too.
As for the Hendricks "domination" with the COT... well, not that it ever existed... cuz it didn't... the JGR COTs led the most laps but circumstances took those wins and gave them to Hendricks.. now Jeff admits that the cars are all equal because NASCAR has finally caught up with the COT program.. no more adjusted bodies on the COTs... no more miracle wins for Hendricks.. I wonder if over the past few weeks they had to get Chad signed up for classes teaching him how to live within the guidelines of the NASCAR rules?? out of the grey?

Poor Robby Gordon. He seems to be the pinata of Nascar. They are always beating him down. I think Robby has it worse than Tony (not by much) when it comes to Nascar penalizing him. Then, again, he is another one who doesn't take shit from Nascar. The fact that he isn't a multi-car team, Nascar doesn't feel they have to kiss his rear like they do Hendrick.
