You bozo, the real Indy 500 has been back for several years now. The '05 and '06 races were two of the most exciting in history. Last year was prety good too, except for the rain. I hope for a merger like everyone else because the car count will rise dramaticly. That should unify the fan base too. More cars and more fans are are good for the sport. Other than those two major issues, the IRL has been doing just fine.

I love it when the smaller teams can get in to race. Even Hendrick had to compete against the Petty's, at first.

You sound the same on every thread you post on we get it. You don't like Indycar because you went with Chump car in the split. You need to move on. I know you change your location all the time but what you say is the same over and over. Give it up!

He was there last year! He crashed first if I recall right, he does the 500 whenever possible, but no one will give him a full time ride.

Are we talking about John Andretti? He stinks, I can't figure out why anyone would put him in a car.

I'll tell you what he may not be the best or even really good. But he has extended his career and made a living off it for a long time. That in itself is impressive to me, everyone likes to hear Andretti with racing right?

If Tony wins the Daytona 500 Sunday I think he should try to do it at Indy too. Smoke is one of the best there ever was in racing of any kind. Not only that but he's an awesome individual who gives back to his fans and charity more then most. He can do whatever he wants because he believes in himself without being vain about his talent. Go Smoke Go!!!!!!!

I'm glad Furniture Row acknowledged their mistake in letting Kenny Wallace go. No one ever expected them to be champions, but to blame a great guy like Kenny when he didn't have the best equipment for not even making the race was wrong. Everyone knows Kenny always puts his heart into it when he races so how anyone could think he was slacking off is beyond me. Go Kenny, have a good time and give it all you can with what you have to work with!!! And Furniture Row thanks for being big enough to admit you were wrong.
