Circuit of The Americas begins final paving process for racetrack

Circuit of The Americas has begun an intensive paving process that is required to prepare the racing circuit and entire facility for the inaugural 2012 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX , scheduled for Nov.

The facilities look impressive. The Circuit of The Americas website shows the progress very well.

I just hope that this works out for the city of Austin. Even though there are 3 cities within a short driving radius that are fairly cosmopolitan (Houston, Dallas, Austin), your average American doe s not know what Formula 1 is. Your average Austin Joe will be more interested in the calf roping championship or tractor pull races.:)
