The two-car "racing" IS a joke, just like A$$CAR itself. But Joooooooooonnnyyyyyyrrrrrrrrrr just needs that "special" restrictor plate like the olds days. You know, the one with holes so big that Fat Helton could stick his thumb through.

"Earnhardt Jr. furious after frustration at Daytona" What was Jr furious about? Did his pit crew forget to put the 30 pack in the cooler?

He says he liked taking care of himself and only himself, but he uses the words number one, which he has never been. Maybe if he could get off the high horse and start being a team player he would see some better results otherwise he should build his own car, drive his own car, do the pit service himself and spot for himself. Johnson gets the blame this week, last week it was Tony. Who will be the recipient of the who ruined Juniors race award next?

I have to agree with Jr. on this one, two car racing sucks, it just not right. Let's hope fuel injection fixes it.

I have to agree with most that the 2 car draft is not racing. Restrictor plate racing is not racing either. Just look at who wins these kinds of races. Usually someone that can't win anywhere else or 75% of their wins are at restrictor plate tracks. It's all dumb luck.

The two car tango sucks! It's not racing but not sure what NASCAR can do about it. They tried at Dega by saying they could bump draft in the corners but fans complained about that too. It's a lose, lose situation. Maybe after the tracks surface gets worn and slick again then they won't have the grip to race the whole race like that.

Hi again Ski. Yeah, wasn't gone long I know. But I wondered how much hater crap there would be about Danica since she's so over-publicized, but I dont see anything. Maybe Im missing it.

Anyway, in your other post u was going on about enlightening Jr Nation. Save the BS or preach it to sum1 else. Im not even a fan so it dont apply to me anyway.

But on THIS topic? I notice everyone saying they don't like 2-car.

Acrim: "two-car "racing" IS a joke," Actually YOU are the joke, unfortunately not a funny one. Pls, dont bother trying your troll shit on me, it just makes me feel you're just that much stupider.

Josh: "Due to the restructure of racing...never a real man's sport"
Can you elaborate? Because if thats how u feel, why did u follow it, and why hang around here? Oh, because you don't REALLY feel that way, you're just pouting and venting. Bitch all u like, I won't stop you.

Hilton Head: "Johnson gets the blame this week" agree, but did u notice, they were supposed to be 'committed' to staying together, which means if 1 car needs to pit, the other should be right there supporting his partner. Don't know who made the call for him NOT to come, but where did they end up? 19th and 20th? So he bailed on Jimmie, Jimmie gets Jr Nations little bitch-fest tweets, and in the end, Jr didn't gain anything. However, had Johnson had his partner, his situation may have been different, he may have missed the wreck, and they might have better results. NASCAR Irony is a MFer dont u think?

Hunglo "Let's hope fuel injection fixes it." How is that supposed to fix it?

Barr "It's all dumb luck." Big boy races are based first on enduring the lengthy race and actually finishing. THEN you factor in everything else. Usually car performance and accel, brake, and cornering ability variables are part of it but obviously not so much in plate races. Its handling traffic, passing and being passed in tight formation without screwing up, which most driver talents can get thru often enough to win.

2-car tandem takes it a step further because all the drivers are figuring it out, and not even the veterans have years of experience as an advantage. In fact, veterans would probably need to unlearn some habits they think will work - as the 48/88 found out.

Junior is right "It's not racing" Junior may have learned some family secrets from Sr and those precious tips that made him good dont work. Of COURSE he's mad, his best hope for winning was having an advantage learned from the best draft man in the business.
"wont have the grip" Sorry, Im gonna have to disagree cuzz I'm probably gonna make sure they keep that push ability ;)

sharpshaver: "thats what dale sr would say" You knew him intimately, u think? Did you used to finish his sentences in conversations? There's no telling WHAT Sr would say to this. Either way, the drivers themself worked this 2-car thing out. It wasn't suggested to them, they found out they can drive away from ppl so they do it. For all we know, Dale Sr might have been one of the first ones pushing!

Oh and about Danica. She stole the show and I LOVED EVERY MIN of that race!!

A$$CAR survives because of inbreds like the last poster on here. The "racing" is beyond pitiful, it is a joke, plain and simple. But don't let that stop you from buying that new Jooooooooonnnnnnyyyyyyyyyrrrrr rrrrr diecast and feeding the Kingdom.

My hope is that with fuel injection the drivers can still be held to a safe speed without sacrificing throttle response. Right now if a driver hits the gas hard the engine bogs down because there is not enough air to burn all of the gas. With fuel injection the amount of gas can be restricted but it is all burned, nothing bogging down the engine. Is it going to fix the racing at Daytona? No, but it's a start. As it is right now I've seen better racing at those slot car tracks they put up at the county fair.

They had their chance to fix daytona and dega. All they needed to do was knock the banking down some.

With all of the safety improvements in the CoT and to the tracks themselves there's no need for plates anyway, the drivers will figure out when to lift and/or brake in order to make it around without hitting the wall.

it can be argued that a 2011 cup car going around dega at 240-250 is probably safer than a 69 charger going 205. I was only implying that by knocking the banking down(they were repaving anyway) would force drives to lift in the corners.

There's no way those POS COTs are going to go 240 - 250 MPH.

Rusty Wallace tested the CoT without a plate and hit 228 at 'dega.
