I always hear about "them" wasting gas. What about all the pee wee, high school, collage, minor league ball and pro, football, baseball, and basketball being played in the year. Dont the fans need gas to get to those events? And the players as well? Beside. Who the hell wants to see a bunch of grown men play with a stupid ball? Esp. basketball. All those guys in their short pants sweating. I sure dont want to see that.

If the fuel is bought and payed for, then it can be used as the consumer sees fit. Your point is moot.
