I apologize, i read so much for loyalty i thought you were talking about Bobby not being loyal. I read earlier in the year alot of people taking up for the Petty's when Bobby re-upped with them and i was saying that he should've left and considered his career more when he made his decision. He should be at RCR starting next year, i think he was the top candidate and RCR could've done for Bobby what they did for Jeff Burton. Again, im sorry i misread.
apology accepted.. thank you

Maybe you should ask Lisa? She's the one that attacks people for asking a simple question. And a question that didn't even involve her.
Ma'am - I don't know you and I don't want involved in your fight.

you succeeded in chasing me away from here

good night

No offence taken.
Just crossing fingers that Bobby gets a car to drive. It would be a sad nascar day if he can't start the 09 season with everyone
Dont worry, he'll be in a ride, he'll just be in probably a car that wont even be close to the resources that RCR could've gave him, but it'll be a much better ride than the 33. I think he'll probably take the EGR ride with Target sponsorship, i just hope it's only for next year. Dont be suprised if Mears flops next year and possibly Labonte and Mears swap next year as Ganassi was always very high on Mears or even if they just get rid of Mears and replace him with Bobby would even be just better. We'll see him back next year, i dont think that's going to be a problem.

We will need a score card - and edits to the score card!

I didn't want to run off and not respond to you.

I think Casey is a fine young man, but not the racer his relatives are. He had some bright spots, but nothing to write to Rick about!

OK, CRJ - seems I have gotten into trouble tonight...thought these were decent threads.

let us look forward to the 09 season.

Good night

It's cool, i think it was just a case of mistaken identity! I agree with you with the score card, these guys change rides so many times i cant tell half the time what number they are, and when they crash at Talladega and Daytona, it takes me about ten minutes to figure out who was in it!

Richard and Kyle Petty are probably nice guys, but Labonte knows when it comes to their race team they are clueless. He had to leave to give himself a chance at being sucessful before its time to pack it in.

He should never have signed back on with Petty. He would have been better off going with the other team that wanted him. He probably would still have a ride and not have to look for one like he does now. I hope he finds a good team to drive for. I like Bobby and his brother Terry. They are great drivers but the cars they were given to drive weren't good cars. Hard as he tried to get to the finish line, the car just didn't have what it takes to get there. And another thing, with all the money the Petty's have they could have built him a good car.

Loyalty is a great quality. But where was it from the Gibbs while they were having their youth movement? If it wasnt for Bobby they wouldnt have a program.Bobby will get another ride and he will be great again.Look at Jeff Burton. He dissapeared for a while and look at him now. Some hungry owner will realize Bobby's situation and Take a chance knowing the man has'nt forgotten how to drive.

I think there is alot of teams that would love to have him, and i think EGR will land him, but im sure like Yates Racing wouldnt mind to get rid of Kvapil or Gilliland and give those owner points to Menard, and Bobby could use his past champ provisional, and i think if i was GEM i'd be wanting to get Bobby in that merger so if i could get sponsors to have a fourth team, i could move the owner points of the 43 to Reed Sorenson in the 10 car and Bobby again would have the past champ provisional. Now, the only problem with that is Tony will be using one too, so he'd have first crack at it before Bobby would unfortunately.

I've not been impressed with David Gilliland(sp)

Bobby IS a past Champion so that might help him get a ride

Before you fly off the handle and use foul language towards me maybe you ought to look at where that post came from.. It sure wasn't Orlando. FYI, unlike some as far as I know Orlando is the only area my posts show up from. Also, if you looked really close you would see this poster misspelled "Junior" so it's another clue that it wasn't me.

You know, I could go on and on about the truth of the Las Vagas/AOL postings to prove a point but it's really not worth my time. Personally I could care less how many names anyone on here posts under as it doesn't affect me one way or another.

Sorry to disappoint you that you didn't get to trash me like you thought you did.

Hope you and your family have a fabulous holiday season.
