For Junior, Does Fun Trump Having It All?

There are sponsors to please, fans to appease, and an owner to answer to. Your job is to try to win races and ultimately the championship.

Wow. That pretty much says it all. Alot of good points and some of what I've been saying. Its not all about fun. There comes a time when you have to answer to the powers that be. Your a race car driver on the track and thats your priority to produce some results to the owner, sponsors, and fans and to yourself. Admit when theres a problem and be open to what changes might be needed to be a successful team. Other wise whats the point? JMO

yes but for some reason RH believe's that Tony Jr and Dale are a good match with each other and no changes will be made it looks like. We will see how that 88 team finishes at the end of the season

I guess Rick has his reasons and I think he wants to give them a chance to figure out the issues. Maybe if things don't improve this season he'll reconsider his options. But at least he's giving them the chance.

I don't know if changing crew chiefs would work or not. But I do think something needs to change and Jr needs to step it up on the track, Jr is to busy worrying about what changes they need to make in the pit instead of worrying about whats going on around him and I think that has alot to do with the way Jr runs. Jr needs to worry about making his way to the front and let Tony figure out what changes to make on pit stops

The thing of it is Jr. can drive. He has showed us that. Maybe he is afraid to win. Some people are like that. Maybe he feels he doesn't have to. Who knows. I don't understand it. He does need to get it together.
