10 fans injured when TV cable falls on race track

Charlotte Motor Speedway said 10 fans were injured Sunday at the Coca-Cola 600 and three of them were taken to the hospital after a nylon rope supporting a Fox Sports overhead television camera fell from the grandstands and landed on the track surface.

Typical NASCAR wanting to be with the big boys and flub it up. There are two good cars that could have won that race and lost because of you. GET BACK TO BASICS IF YOU CAN'T BE PROS WITH CAMERAS.

NASCAR will do anything for viewers right now. This includes getting every possible camera angle they can get for the fans. They ruined the race for a few drivers, but it was a freak incident. It's just sad that it's becoming common to hear about fans getting hurt when they go to the track now, if it's not a car flying into the stands, it's a cable!
