I was so shocked to read About Bobby Hamilton Sr. passing away on Sunday. He seemed to be a quiet type of person. My prayers go out to his family, both off and on the track. He was a great Champion and will be always remembered for this

I was diagnosed with the same cancer stage 4 as Bobby and I feel so sorry and sad for him. I know what he went thru with his treatment before passing. I could question some things, but there is no point so I`ll just say God Bless you Bobby and we will all see you one day.

I would expect someone to die on the track too.

It's safer on a NASCAR track than it is on your local freeway. They check for debris and everyone has a seatbelt on and no one is talking on their cell phone.

<quoted text>The death of a race car driver on the track is not sad to me. Cancer is though.
Just think how Dale Earnheart Jr felt when he saw his dad being killed on the race track.

You know those hikers who froze to death? Do I feel sorry for their families? Very much so. Do I feel sorry for them? Not so much. If you take crazy risks, bad things can happen.
I feel sad for them too. You're right.
