Can Denny Hamlin save NASCAR?

Full story: PilotOnline.com

While I'm sure some long for the days when a driver goes after another driver after a race _ and were disappointed that Denny Hamlin didn't do more after his late-race bump with Jimmie Johnson _ I would argue that personality exists in the sport, although it's different from years past.

I don't see a way anyone in the Sprint Cup Series can save NASCAR, especially if it is the Sprint Cup Series itself that is trying to make The NASCAR World self-destruct. In my book, the Truck Series is NASCAR's only hope...
