Ford didn't give Bill the help they gave others when he was a car owner. So much for loyalty. You go with the man, not the car. Bill is a race car driver, he goes where they want him and have the program he likes. Thom, return to your trailer.

I'm just happy to see him back on the track! Can't wait for races later in the season to see him on the track again... no matter what he's driving!

Way to go bill giving up on evernham, wanted to run 12-15 races a year he gave 3 in 2004 and 9 in 2005 in top 20 cars at best, and helped kasey kahne to what is is today come on ray show some respect. Hope he ends up in yates's 88 in 2007 for as many races he wants to get the chance to get his 45th win. No chance this year with waltrip junk!!!!!!!!!! hope Terry Labonte is not racing when he does may need past champ prov

If Bill drove a Tonka Truck I'd stilll root for him...he has made me very proud over the years. As for Kasey, he's a talented, classy young man (like Bill) and Bill made a great choice when he helped Ray pick him to drive the #9. I wish the #9 had been retired but as it wasn't, it sure is good to see the car being driven with respect.

As a long time bill elliott fan i'm not too happy about him getting into a mwr car for five races, I thought last year was bad driving evernham's rd car in the middle to back of the pack sometimes but this year will be a lot worse. Also I know hermie salder and waltrip have some kind of partnership and sadler has been in a chevy not a ford like he was the first part of the year the past few weeks before he gets parked for going too slow. SURE HOPE THOSE CARS ARE NOT THE SAME CARS BILLS WILL BE DRIVING. I think bill's brother still works for gannasi so please bill go there and mentor stremme and let him sit because that gut is not ready at all

I'm sure Bill has all the bases covered. Also, the Michael Waltrip cars are probably built for next season, and fabricated by the Toyota boys. Bill will get in the show. He's still the best qualifier. I don't see any top tens , but you never know.
Bill is my favorite no matter what he drives. Besides, if you take the decals off of the cars , They all look like updated Thunderbirds anyway.

Just wanted to know if enybody out there thinks a toyota team can talk elliott into driving a full season in 07, I'm sure they are throwing 10 million plus at him a year when mears and vickers are the top drivers avialable. At the very least I hope he shares a seat in one of the redbull full time rides with someone like ricky rudd. Just hope he stays away from the r&d deals like this year with waltrip and redbull for 07.

If your wife were really smart, she'd take all the Bill Elliott stuff and leave you for someone who can spell.

Let's face it, if Bill is going to run full time he's not going to waste his time. He is a smart guy and knows what teams have potential, even it if is a start up team. Hell, look what he did for Dodge in '00. Won a pole first time out and won Homestead. Totoya/Red Bull is his best option for a new team. I'm Ford to the bone, but Bill is my guy and I don't care if he drives a Nissan, so long as he is competitive. Give 'em hell in '07 Bill!!
