It would be awesome to see bill back full time in 2007, I don't care who he drives for as long its not waltrip due to him running three teams talented personnel will be spread to thin on a start up team and his performance this year in the 00. Like to see him back with evernham in the 19 car, I guess red bull would be the way to go with toyota. Just hope to see him all in or all out because it is hard to watch him run in back with the rd program with evernham the last two years and waltrip this year.

I agree with the last comment. I would much rather see Bill in a full time ride even if they start out slow. I bet by the middle of the season he can make even a start up team competitive. This 00 Waltrip deal is worse than the 91. At least the 91 had SOME proven equipment on it. The 00 is a spankin new team with unproven equipment. Tony Stewart couldn't have done anything w/ that car at Louden. I hope Bill goes with Red Bull if he does the Toyota thing. If not, a reunion w/ Evernham in the 19 would be awesome! You see what he did w/ Dodge on a start up deal. Won in the first season. Toyoya is pumping all its cash & resources into this NASCAR campaign and I bet they refuse to run mid-pack. Elliott is proven and would also work well w/ the youngster Vickers. That would be a great combo for Toyota and Red Bull. We shall see.

It would be great to see bill back in 07 full time BUT not with a toyota team. I don't have a issue with toyota but i do have a issue with the line up they have next year. Bill Davis has not has one of his cup drivers finish in the top ten in a race since 04. MWR three teams, they don't have what it takes to field one team, well at least dj has the past champ prov in get in races because he my be the only MWR driver in a few races next year. Red Bull,????? Elton Sawyer heading things to get up and going come on he's no ray evernham. Looks like toyota better break the bank for joe gibbs and fund the 4th car he wants to run in 07 to make a splash in nascar.

So bill go back to evernham in the 19, ray let crocker run full time in ARCA for three years and see how things pan out and turn your focus back to your cup teams. Kahne has was its takes to be a champ but needs your help and a vet like elliott to put ems with roush hendrick and gibbs. Its time to see some parity in nascar because I think in the last ten years henrick, roush, and gibbs have won the title except in 99 when dj won with yates.

I know sadler looks to be going to the 19, why if he's not running well all he want's to do is jump ship. Did it with the woods and ryr, no loyalty.

MWR is a joke, if toyota thinks this is going to be the team to lead them into cup they need to give JGR every doller they got. I don't think bill will race full time next year, but with his part time deal he has to split a full time ride with another driver. Toyata I think is going to suck so it would be awesome to see bill in the 6 with another driver because toodd kluever will not get the ride or let bill and someone like rudd share the 88 to help yates back. Its great that bill has only one more race in the 00 after fontana because its hard to watch him running in the 40's. Maybe their is hope in the red bull ride but how much can you expect from a new team. 2004 was like the part time glorey days with bill up front in a few races and a 9th at indy.

I think there is only 2 realistic places for bill to go the #6 cuz ford would pay plenty to get him back in a ford especially with jarrett going to toyota. The other is team red bull I think bill will wait till he runs a couple races for them to see what kind of program they have before making his decision.Michael waltrip hasnt given elliott very competitive cars these 4 races so far and just look at how poor waltrips team has been this year.I hate seeing him in the back as much as anyone. I think if the cars are good he can run near the front
next season!

Bill in 37 at Kansas, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Ray said he would put a car on the track for Bill as long as he wanted to drive LIAR. It's great to see bill race more but not in junk. He has done so much in the sport to go out like Shepard, or G Bodine.

I have been a Bill Elliot fan for about 20 years but now that he is going to be driving that jap crap next year i hope he never wins another race and i will never watch another nascar race again i think all fans of nascar should picket every race in every major track in the great U.S.A and there should be a ban on all jap crap in American racing

I don't care what the make of bill's car is as long as we get to see him race, look at the reports cracker red bull asked bill to vacate his atlanta ride for allmendinger who I'm sure will be vickers teamate next year so I'm about 100% percent sure you will never see bill in a toyata because after that all 7 seats are filled for toyota.

Bill will do what he wants to do and at his pace.He has worked very hard to get to this point in life and I admire that. As far as Toyota goes- Why would anyone have anything for a Country that is the absolute most Ruthless trading partner we have ever had. They will not sell or produce our products on their pint sized Island and we suck their junk up over here (while floating their miserable economy and sinking ours) Wake up America!!! Kinda like 2 couples agreeing to Spouse swap- The first 2 do it and than tell the other 2 they can't??? Have I told you about the sandbox kids- I'll take my toys and go home-I think you get the idea by now. Anyhow -I hope Bill wins in a Ford again and soon !!!!!!

I was kind of hoping to see Elliott in the 19 car myself but Elliott Sadler got that ride. I thought that the 88 Or 6 would have been an awsome fit. I agree its been hard seeing Bill running in the back of pack, I thought that's why he retired in the first place so he wouldn't go through what Richard Petty and Darrel Waltrip went through at the end of their career.

I was born a Bill Elliott fan, some people were raised to like the 'Noles and some the Gators. Me I was born to live for racing and love Bill Elliott. I completely agree w/ the guy who said all or non. It killed me to see him running in the back when he was at the end of his tenure with Junior Johnson and when he was fieling his own car. I would just like to see him be competitive or get off the track b/c it hurts me in my heart to see him in 43 rd for 500 miles or out of the race after the first lap. I just dont want to see him end up like Morgan Sheppard no disrespect but he just enters these races to pay off his debts.

Jeff, I am right with ya, as i have been a Bill Elliot fan and it break my heart to see the way Nascar treats the great drivers like him. Did you see how he drove the 37 Dodge and avoided that wreck with the 26 car, anyother driver would have been right into thei wreck. However not even a word from any announcer, now if that would have been one the GOOD OLD Boys, that would have been the topic of the rest of the day.

Phillip is right, i hate it when an old timer like bill or a no namer does something great, and they dont get any credit for it. But if tony stewart did they would get down on their knees and start praising him. Bill deserves A better ride. I would love to see him in a dodge again.
