NEWSFLASH: "WWE NASCAR" has never seen an NHRA race before! Read all about it!...

The fastest NHRA pass in history if I'm not mistaken was Gary Scelzi at a little over 337 MPH! That beat's your 221 MPH any day!

Now stop bugging us if you no idea what you're talking about! In case you didn't read the date, this was WAY before the COT!!!!!

Do a bit of research my friend, Tim Richmond and the #25 Folgers team put one of those Porsches on the trailer at a promotional test in 1985 or 86.
241 plus mph in the Chevie vs 238 in the Porsche.
I'm not even a GM fan but I loved this one.
You know real men drive real cars.

1987 358 cubic in displacement Ford small block fed by single 4 barrel carb. This approx. 5.9l engine at that time made about 650 hp, and propelled a 3500lb car to 212.809 mph. A 12 cylinder twin turboed 1200 horse power Porsche runs 221 mph. I would say that the Germans got some work to do.
