This is bullcrap! Im a Bill Elliott fan and glad to see him back, but what aggreviates me is that they wont give Jon Wood a chance. He was suppose to run part time last year in a second Wood Brothers cars and he never even attempted one in 2006 and then they say he'll split this season with Schrader and when it gets time to put Jon in the car, they throw Bill in it, that's not right! Why didnt they do that when Schrader was in the car, he was the one missing races! Whether Jon can or can not make it in the race, they need to let HIM try and qualify it in, that shows me obviously they dont have no faith in his talent. Maybe Jon should be taking a long hard look at what Earnhardt Jr is doing and maybe start talkin with Roush bout replacing David Ragan in the 6 car, would be a step in the right direction and i think Wood has alot of talent, just dont have the equipment to show it where he's at right now. Jon Wood needs to be in the 21, not Schrader and not Bill.
only reason Bill was even ask to drive was because of his championship provisional. I feel like thats a slap in the face to John and Schrader. They don't even give John a chance...I wish John would find him another ride so he can prove himself.

Dang! Couldn't they have waited until after the Charlotte race. I was really looking forward to seeing Jon race both nights! Now I don't even feel like going to the cup race!

The Wood brothers and the Elliott's have been friends for over 30 years. The 21 team needs to keep their sponsors on board, to stay racing. Bill and his 6 past champion provisionals will at least get them in the race. Bill is not long term, just getting the car in the field. Hope to see y'all in Michigan!

Two names that come to my mind on how Wood's carrer as a driver will pan out, Coy Gibbs and the late Ricky Hendrick.Jon's driving carrer mirrors those two in trucks and bush and then they each found a role that fit them in the sport.

To all you doubters Wild Bill put the car in the show without his provisional. I would say this is another glimpse on how talented this semi-retired guy is.
